Beautiful cottage with everything we needed and the location was spot on for us.
Beautiful cottage with everything we needed and the location was spot on for us. Perfect for taking our dog on holiday due to the enclosed garden and walks on our doorstep. A few miles to local shops etc but we knew that as indicated in the description and were prepared. Plenty of locations to visit daily and then relax in the hot tub with fantastic scenery in the evening.

Amazing holiday would 100% reccommend the cottage was spotless and fully equipped down to the smallest detail it was so homely and the owners had left some little condiments on a tray with a lovely tea pot some eggs and a small carton of milk, also they had left a dog bowl with two treats in for our dogs which made us all feel so welcome the hospitality from the owners was brilliant always checking if we were OK or if we needed anything but were not intrusive at all there is so many beautiful walks around the area and the views are beautiful from the cottage the most relaxing holiday i have had it was lovely to come home from a long walk with the dogs and relax in the hot tub. Will be definately returning! X

Absolute perfection.
Absolute perfection.
The views were stunning, the pictures on line don't do the cottage or location justice (there's a newly fitted bathroom that was a bonus and free complimentary toiletries too)
Hot tub was easy to use and well provided for (robes and slippers) Super comfy bed and the welcome tray was a lovely touch too.
We LOVED the open fire.
Owners were super friendly but weren't intrusive whatsoever. I will miss sharing my morning coffee with sheep and rabbits but we will be back 1000%.
The amenities are a short drive away but with the lovely views enroute even a trip to the shops doesn't seem mundane.

A fantastic cottage with beautiful views and walks on the door step.
A fantastic cottage with beautiful views and walks on the door step. Really friendly owners that were very helpful telling us about the local area and the best walks for our two dogs. It’s in a great position to explore the Lake District as well as North Yorkshire Dales.
We would definitely recommend this cottage and we hope to return soon for another stay. The hot tub was a great way to relax in the evenings after a long days walk in the country.

Outstanding place to stay, so peaceful it was like being in another world.
Outstanding place to stay, so peaceful it was like being in another world. Cottage very well equipped, lovely little Kitchen & Bathroom. Lovely lounge, bedroom and most important of all a very comfortable Bed!! Cottage was spotlessly clean from top to bottom.
Nice little garden which is a really safe place for small dogs. Lots of beautiful walks to go on, some gentle and some for the hardy hikers!
Brough nice little place for amenities with a lovely Chip-Shop ?..and Brough Castle (free entry) well worth a visit.
Kirby Stephen, Appleby and Ravenstonedale all worth a visit with excellent pubs and Restaurants.
Owners John and Alison couldn't of been more helpful ( thanks for our personal escort ??) even though you wouldn't know they were there unless you needed them.
Excellent all round Steve & Sheila
