We loved our week in Bakewell.

We loved our week in Bakewell. Bookkeeper’s Place was comfortable and very central - within easy walking distance of everything we needed. The flat was well equipped and the owner very quick to respond to any questions. The outdoor area was lovely - although our weather didn’t allow us to use it often. The only negatives for us were the very dark entrance. There seemed no lights we could find directly inside the door, so was difficult to see until we reached the stairway. Also the fact that a room where bikes would be stored was advertised on cottages.com website, but this was not available and so the bike had to be kept outside. Overall though a lovely flat and would be happy to return if we were in the area.
