The rare geology of the area creates a haven for exceptional plants, flowers and wildlife. Pretty fishing coves and harbours such as Cadgwith Cove and Mullion are just a short drive away.

The Lizard Lighthouse and Heritage Centre is open to the public, and you can climb to the top and take advantage of the glorious views. Visit St Winwaloe Church right on the beach at Gunwalloe - Church Cove dates back to the 13th century. The Marconi Centre at Poldhu Cove offers an insight into advances in media and transatlantic radio communication, and you can stop off en route at Roskilly’s famous farm to watch how they make the local ice cream and fudge.
