Had an absolutely fantastic couple of days at Weavers Den.
Had an absolutely fantastic couple of days at Weavers Den. It has everything you could possibly want and more! I was worried before we arrived as we were a mixed age group - ie elderly grandparent, two dogs, two teenagers, and the weather forecast was poor. The weather was great and when we were in the cottage, the combination of the games room, garden, paddock, books, board games kept us all busy. The pub did amazing food and was only a short walk away. The kitchen was stocked like a home away from home and the welcome gifts were much appreciated!

Lovely cosy, spacious, spotlessly clean & warm cottage with a large enclosed garden plus a garage with games & EV charger. Some great walks from doorstep - Wolds Way. Plenty of places to visit near by - Malton, good for small individual shops, Fraisthorpe beach was great for the dogs (parking can be pricy in summer months) Easingwold has some nice cafes, Yearsley Woods was great but make sure you have boots ! Cottage is about half way between York & coast so good location for us. Lots of nice cosy village pubs for meals, local take away was very good & village Tea Room is worth a visit. We went into York a couple of time but opted for the Park & Ride - so much easier & less £. Loads to do & see there even with 2 dogs ! We had a very relaxing, enjoyable week & would highly recommend.
Nice village location, wonderful views. Really, we couldn't fault it! Recommend the pub, the tea shop, the art gallery - that's about it really but it was enough for us. Lots of walks nearby but as we had an elderly relative with us and the weather was a little cold we weren't walking far but that was OK too. Thanks for having us.
This is a fabulous place to stay for a chill out peaceful time away loved every minuet of it home from home everything you need . Large cottage very cosy loved the log fire so easy to light numerous dvds to choose from even books and games a plenty. Easy access to York town centre an to designer outlet. There was nothing this place didn’t have it was amazing one of the best I’ve stayed in would definitely book again, host Audrey is a lovely lady nothing was too much on hand if you needed anything
