About this property

Beautiful house in the Dordogne valley

On the outskirts of the village, the property benefits from a site conducive to family and relaxing holidays. The large lawn to the south offers a clear view of the hills and cliffs which dominate the Dordogne. While some rest in the shade of the cedar over 300 years old, others can lounge by the pool or play ball or table tennis.

The garden and the swimming pool are largely provided with parasols, deckchairs, swimming pool mattresses, sun lounger, tables and chairs for outdoor dining as well as a plancha and a barbecue.

The property will delight lovers of cultural holidays (Rocamadour 2 ° site of France, Sarlat, Eyrignac and Marqueyssac gardens among the 27 stars of the Green Guide located less than 25 km away!).
For athletes: hiking, of course, but also cycling, the cycle path joining Sarlat passes in front of the house. Mountain biking in the hills, crossing forest paths, canoeing on the Dordogne. And also in Souillac (5km): horse riding club, tennis club, golf and 2 tree climbing courses on the road to Sarlat.
You will find at your disposal 6 bikes for your hikes, a game of ball, badminton, molky balls, table tennis equipment as well as many board games.

For shopping, a large Leclerc center and a hall of local producers 8 minutes away and of course the city center for 3 minutes more.

In addition to the living room and dining room, a large playroom / television with mezzanine (70 m²) allows generations to live together without being shy.
The house is equipped with wifi, "laptops" run smoothly, a DVD player and an abundant DVD library are at your disposal as well as numerous comics for all ages.
The very well equipped kitchen is independent and communicates with the dining room.
The bedrooms are spacious.
The house is equipped with auxiliary electric heaters in each room.
In addition to the 4 powder rooms, there is a w. vs. on each floor (R. C. and 1 °)
We provide you with 2 additional children's beds (1 travel cot, a wooden children's bed), a stroller, a high chair.

Absolutely beautiful house, perfect location for Dordogne

The house is stunning, and arriving is a treat. It's absolutely beautiful, and a well loved family home, which gives it a cosy (despite the size!) relaxed vibe. Everything was as good or better than we'd hoped, perfect for a large family or friend group of all ages. Kids had a ball in the pool and there are loads of games and entertainments on-site to keep everyone happy. Good commmunications from owners. We hope to come back!

Maison agréable et de belle facture. Beaucoup d'espace (on ne se marche pas sur les pieds), extérieur très grand. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour sur place. Proximité avec un loueur de canoë particulièrement pratique (possible d'y aller à pied!) et aux tarifs raisonnables. Souillac est proche pour les courses.Franchement, emplacement à recommander.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette belle maison dont les murs épais nous ont protégés des fortes chaleurs, sauf au 2 ème étage, la grande salle donnant accès aux chambres étant directement sous la charpente. Les chambres sont spacieuses, salon et salle à manger également. Et la salle de jeux a rapidement été investie par nos petits enfants. Un bémol cependant pour la cuisine assez petite et qui aurait besoin d’être remise à neuf. Le deuxième réfrigérateur en panne nous a manqué. La piscine a été très appréciée et on aurait aimé avoir un éclairage pour en profiter en soirée.Une seule clef pour ouvrir la maison, c’est un peu compliqué quand on est une grande famille avec des horaires et des destinations différents.Le quartier est calme, la Dordogne toute proche. Et de nombreux sites touristiques sont relativement peu éloignés : Rocamadour, Padirac, le petit train de Martel, le château de Castelnaud, Lascaux 4 furent nos visites. Vacances réussies pour les grands comme les petits!

Beautiful house, huge yard

This truly is a well equipped, beautiful house with a huge yard in a wonderful setting. Souillac is a 10 minute drive and has a lovely market with local products as well as various supermarkets. The owner was very easy to reach and we appreciated the communication with him. We had a few tips for the owner to consider, which he took very positively. All in all, we had a great time!

Superbe endroit de vacance en famille !

Magnifique maison de famille où chacun peut trouver sa place et cohabiter agréablement quelles que soient les tranches d'âge. La maison est très bien équipée ainsi que la piscine. Point très positif, la proximité de Souillac où l'on a accès à toutes les courses, tant que grande surface que superbe marché de produits locaux ainsi que les centres d'intérêt touristique ( Sarlat, Padirac, Lascaux et de nombreux châteaux et jardins ... ). Tout petit bémol, les salles de bains mériteraient un coup de jeune. En résumé, très agréable location de vacances.

Beautiful house with lots of character

We loved the house and the it's antique furnishings which reflected the history of the house (from the portraits of family members to the 1960's bathroom). There were lots of different areas for people to relax, lovely shady old trees, as well as ping pong and a separate games room. We particularly appreciated the bikes which we used to explore the surrounding area. Cazoules is a picturesque village in a great location.

UNE TRES BELLE LOCATION A RECOMMANDER

Cette très belle et vaste maison correspond vraiment à la description et aux photos. On peut y ajouter le charme des lieux, vous êtes dans une maison de famille qui vous accepte instantanément, la maison est ancienne mais très facile à vivre, on apprécie, lorsqu'il y a des enfants, que rien ne soit fragile, et que par exemple on puisse tout laisser dehors en cas de pluie. On peut ajouter la gentillesse et la très grande réactivité du propriétaire et des personnes chargées de l'entretien, au moindre petit problème. La piscine, très bien entretenue, est bien sécurisée. Les grands arbres forment assez d'ombre pour les repas de midi, on peut prendre ceux du soir sur la terrasse devant la maison. Les grands -parents apprécient la salle de télévision , de lecture et de piano, pour pouvoir s'isoler, et les enfants de trouver des tas de coins pour les cabanes, et de pouvoir aussi sortir tout prés pour les baignades ou le canotage sur la Dordogne. Pour la région, elle est magnifique. La " coulée verte", piste pour vélos ou piétons, peut vous conduire jusqu'à Sarlat, en longeant la Dordogne et ses petites plages, vous pouvez pour cela emprunter les vélos à votre dispositions. Pour le village, et son excellent boulanger, c'est à pieds ou à vélo, sur une route sans danger. A Souillac, en face du Leclerc, une halle aux produits fermiers excellents, ouverte même le dimanche. Nous sommes des habitués des locations dans cette région, celle là était parfaite à tous points de vue.
