About this property

Centrally located 3 bedroom villa with pool close to the beaches

Casa Corticia is an attractive, modern and well presented holiday home, ideally situated within walking distance to various restaurants, bars and supermarkets. We have been coming to this area since the mid eighties with our children and felt so safe here and loved it so much that we eventually bought a villa here in Almancil. Now our children are bringing their children to play with all the inflatables in the pool or have fun on the beach. We enjoy our golf here as Val do Lobo, Quinta do Lago, San Lorenzo and many more are nearby as well as many restaurants and bars which are within walking distance. When we’re not here we like to think that others can enjoy it as much as we do.

The villa features three spacious bedrooms, two of which are en-suite whilst the third bedroom has a separate shower room, a large pool, garden and terrace area and plenty of room to relax in the Algarve sunshine. The villa also offers close proximity to the golf courses in the Algarve, most suitable for golf parties as the beds can be split into singles for more accommodation. The villa also offers Z beds, cots and high chair to accommodate the younger members of the family.

The large fully equipped kitchen features everything that you would need on holiday to recreate your favorite Portuguese dishes whilst the exterior poolside terrace provides both a charcoal BBQ and a Broiler King gas BBQ.

A spacious lounge for relaxing on comfy sofas and a large area for dining for those special moments.

Perfect Villa for our family holiday ! Had every thing we needed in this well equipped Villa the pool is much larger than the pictures do it justice , could not get my grandchildren out of it , it was the highlight of there holiday . Perfect location , we would book again.

Good holiday base

Well presented and plenty big enough for 2 couples. Enjoyed having outside eating space for breakfast and in the evening, and used the pool every day after trips out. Well placed in particular for 2 restaurants within walking distance which we used in the evening. A good base for an enjoyable holiday.

A lovely villa with beautiful pool. Very nice

It's an amazing place and a wonderful pool. We had a lot fun in it with the kids. The villa has everything it needs and you find in the area a lot of nice restaurants. It's not to far from Faro and Albufeira, but you do need a car to get there.

Stunning Family Friendly stay

From the start John has gone over and above. Providing loads of information about the property area and helpful tips. The property itself is perfect, great outdoor bbq and sitting area with a stunning pool. Inside three huge bedrooms and plenty of space for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure!

Family Holiday

The property is spacious and airy and perfect for a family holiday . The outside eating area is especially nice . Whereas the house suited us perfectly, would have been nice to have some table lamps and perhaps some bed side lights for reading . John was very helpful, before our visit .

We had a great stay

Really nice house, short uber or taxi from everything. Secure and quiet and perfect for us and our kids. John the owner is really helpful. I would recommend pin dropping the house location as uber doesn't pick up the house location very well. We would stay again

Amazing Host

Myself, husband and two children (9 & 12) have just returned from our holiday in the Algarve where we stayed in John’s family villa for 2 weeks. The villa is lovely, clean and comfortable and had everything we could possibly have needed during our stay. It’s far larger than we expected, and we really enjoyed the upstairs veranda for our morning coffees. The outdoor area is lovely and we enjoyed being able to use the bbq on evenings when we’d had a busy day. The villa is a great base and close to Vale do Lobo beach which is stunning and Quinta do Lago, where we did some water activities with the kids on the lake. It was also a short drive to Zoomarine and water parks. John was a wonderful host and before we left Scotland he sent us a very detailed email telling us all about the area, the many supermarkets available and provided some fabulous restaurant recommendations, some of which we were able to try on this trip and thoroughly enjoyed. Hope to visit again and try the others. Highly recommend!

Absolutely remarkable villa, the photos on the listing do not do it justice - all bedrooms are very large double bedrooms, 3 very large bathrooms with baths and showers, the furnishings and finish are all really high throughout, including very good beds and excellent air conditioning throughout.Toys, pool inflatables, board games, and books were provided.Completely unexpectedly a cleaner came twice within 9 days and changed bedding, towels, and beach towels. The location is superb, 15 mins drive away from beaches, towns, restaurants Waterpark, and the immediate town almancil is very nice with cafes, supermarkets, and a nice park.

Best vacation ever

The house is fantastic, all communication with Clare and Jonh was always very pleasant, and the area is excellent. The kids loved the pool and the area of ​​the house is very large. I recommend and hope to return myself

Brilliant Experience

We had a wonderful experience in Clare’s property! The photos really do not do it justice, the villa is absolutely beautiful! The location is quiet while still being just a 10 minute drive to the beach bars and restaurants. A truly wonderful holiday overall! Clare responded incredibly quickly to all emails and provided an enormous amount of information regarding the area and things to do during the trip.
