We had a great stay and enjoyed how close it was to the slopes! It was clean and comfortable. As a heads up it has a mini fridge which was fine, but if you are there for a week you may want to bring a cooler for a backup place to keep drinks.
Wonderful little cottage within minutes of Taos Ski Valley.
This is a great little weekend getaway spot. So close to Taos Ski valley, and most local attractions. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is your place. We had a great time (mins a broken leg - haha) and will be checking availability of this property the next time we are in the Taos area.
The bathroom is nice! Master bedroom is bigger than it needs to be, second bedroom is a bit small. It has litter space to work with with suitcase open. To be this close to a ski resort, more hooks badly needed for jackets, ski pants, ski jackets, gloves and related items. There is just not enough space to lay things around
The “Blue Adobe” cottage was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. It was designed beautifully and modern. The floor heating kept the whole place warm. There were plenty blankets , pillows and even an air mattress which we did use when my little one had Altitude sickness. We had a 23 hour drive basically and our host was extremely accommodating to that. There were plenty dishes and serving ware for basic meal. There is only a small fridge so I recommend only getting 1 meals worth of ingredients at a time. They had basic spices, paper towels and dish washing materials. It was very hard to find places to eat in Taos that were open late at night or even past 3 pm. Most places cater to breakfast or brunch. There are places for take out at night and places to eat if u don’t wait til the last minute like us. They have a wonderful fenced in area behind the cottage for your dog. The front gate doesn’t stay close so be mindful if your dog runs off like our corgi likes to do. Luckily he doesn’t like the cold and gets scared easily and turned around. There isn’t access to a washer and dryer but we did notice some laundromats nearby. The cottage is close to markets and not far from Walmart. And there was also a great little welcome gift of wine an cheese from the hosts as well. They also had organic products from Trader Joe’s. I doubt we will ever go back to Taos to stay because the town is just not our cup of tea. The ski resort there is more for experienced skiing and snow boardin
The Blue Adobe was exactly as described and pictured. It was an easy drive to the Taos ski resort and a short drive into town. It was a bit tight for our family of five, but luckily the kids are small so with one on the floor it worked out quite nicely. I didn't realize from the photos that the fridge is a large version of a mini fridge (with a working freezer) and the kitchen is very very small. We pre-made all of our meals and had to keep them in our cooler, which luckily worked out fine. Groceries for multiple meals would not have fit. There's also no washer and dryer. And the table is only big enough for four (we brought a folding table to eat together). I didn't knock down the stars because nothing in the listing was inaccurate, I just didn't quite realize how small it was. We had a great time and appreciate the cleanliess, responsiveness of the host/manager, location, and accuracy of the listing.

Taos Getaway
Very clean and beautiful property. Lovely bathroom and kitchen. We will be back!
We had a wonderful Christmas with our daughter who lives in Taos. So nice to have a yard to let our dogs out to run around. Would definitely stay again. Had a small issue after power outage but was resolved very quickly even though it was Christmas Eve.
The Blue Adobe was clean and well-apportioned. We were very comfortable and had a great time. Thank you for the wine, cheese, and bread, too! We have told our Taos family this is a great place for them to consider for other out of town guests!

Very nice place
The place was very nice and had been updated with attractive finishes. The enclosed backyard was great for the dog. My only complaint was there is no ac or evaporative cooler and it was very hot. The host was nice enough to bring a fan but it wasn’t enough.
Owner left us a bottle of Merlot and a loaf of rosemary foccacio bread. Very thoughtful. Fridge is very small but beautiful new range. And the view of the mountains is beautiful.
We enjoyed being in a quiet neighborhood outside of town. This unit worked fine for a short weekend. The kitchen and living area was tight for a family of five, but would have been great for a couple.
