AYINDI – Luxury Beach House, Byron Bay

Ayindi is a beautifully designed four-bedroom beach house, completed in March 2017 and perched above Clarkes Beach and The Pass — Byron Bay’s renowned surfing and swimming beach.

The home enjoys spectacular 270-degree views to the east, north and west, overlooking Byron Bay, the northern coastline, the lush hinterland and Arakwal National Park, extending to the iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse.

Designed to maximise light, space and the stunning outlook, Ayindi features two spacious open-plan living areas, a designer kitchen, four bedrooms (two with ensuites), a family bathroom and a heated plunge pool with luxury outdoor furniture. Sophisticated interiors and curated artworks create a relaxed yet refined beachside atmosphere.

Ideally located, Ayindi is a 5-minute walk via bush track to The Pass, a 15-minute stroll to Byron town centre, and a 15-minute walk along the coastal track to Cape Byron Lighthouse, Australia’s most easterly point.

A magnificent property

Ayindi is a well designed, beautifully equipped, comfortable property perched above the iconic Pass at Byron Bay. Every detail has been well thought. We had a wonderful family holiday. We have visited Byron Bay for years and this is the best property we have stayed in.

Ayindi, amazing in every way! Great proximity to the Pass, Wategos Beach & a short flat walk into town. The house is beautifully well appointed, clean & homely. Lucy has thought of everything you might need for your stay.....a home away from home! The floor plan works well especially with teenagers having the self contained lower ground floor with access to garden & pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would visit again if we have the opportunity.

This property is spectacular, the view is amazing - along with the layout, design and styling of this property was just beautiful. We loved the quick walk down to the pass and the house is very private - Lucy you are a fantastic host, easy to contact and communicate with, thanks for having us in your beautiful home, we will be back

Wonderful family holiday

We recently stayed at Ayindi for my mother in laws special birthday. The space was perfect for 6 adults and 2 children. Each family had their own space and we enjoyed all coming together in the shared kitchen/meals/dining area. We really enjoyed the pool and the two lizards that live in the garden were very friendly and fun to have around. The views and location are stunning, the styling is to perfection. We truely felt relaxed and had a great stay.

Perfect house

We chose to spend a few days here after our wedding with our parents to 'de-compress'. What a perfect house and location to do it in. The house is modern, spacious, comfortable and stylish. It blew me away and was even better than the pictures make out on here. Multiple living spaces for privacy, stunning views and a great welcome from Liz the house manager as well. We will definitely be back!

The perfect holiday residence!

After our stay at Ayindi we are all wanting more, including our sons (4 and 1) who are desperate (as we are) to go back to the hot outdoor shower and our breakfasts on the verandah, easy morning walks down to the beach at the pass and our walks into town in the afternoon for another swim and ice cream. All are in perfect reach of Ayindi and the house provides a VERY comfortable base in which to relax and re-charge the batteries. We are already planning our next return! Thanks for the wonderful family holiday memories.

We have had such a great stay at Ayindi. Perfect blend of beach house feel and modern conveniences which allows you to relax in style! The house is comfortable and well presented. The walk into the centre of town is easy along the boardwalk (15 mins approx) and the proximity to the main beach and the pass for swimming and surfing makes it an ideal location. We plan to return!

It is far enough out of town to feel like youve escaped but an easy walk to get supplies and hit the restaurants/bars. It is evident the owners have great pride in this property with everything for a comfortable stay. It is very clean, fresh and very liveable. Tim & Julia
