We did not receive the check in emails so this made the start of our stay quite stressful. Also had issues with opening and closing the front door. Wifi signal was poor. Once in the property all was good.
Internal bathroom could do with an extractor fan and there was no hairdryer.
We booked having not been on a family holiday in years but constantly doing day trips to Torquay. I must say was a perfect location not too far from all the necessities we needed and was perfect for our little family. Couldn't recommend a better place to stay. Thanks again.
Great communication with owner. Location is good and layout is ok for a family. The only concern was the cleanliness, which I raised with the owner who promised to speak to their cleaners for future guests.
Good location and clean apartment. However, we do have few concerns
1. Me and my wife are 74 and 72 years old. We found very difficult to walk up the ramp and walking again up to 2 more levels.
2. No external lights in front of the property. When we arrive in the night, after parking the car in the garage, it was pitch dark outside and found difficult to climb up the ramp.
3. The microwave oven in the kitchen cannot be reached by short people. It is placed at a level above the fridge which can be used only by people of more than 165cm+of height.
4. The air conditioner / Heater unit upstairs was out of order. The power point was taped around so that no one can use it due to some fault.
5. It would have been good if there were complementary tea / coffee? milk etc in the kitchen for the first day.
6. There was no bread toaster in the kitchen. As soon as we woke up in the morning we had to go to outside restaurant for coffee and breakfast.
The above matters should be considered and rectified asap.

Regarding external lighting we appreciate your concern and it could be helpful to guests arriving after dark
Regarding the incline of the path and the stairs inside - the townhouse is advertised and pictured as two levels above the garage so guests should be aware of that prior to booking
Regarding the level of the microwave - this is a design feature that we cannot change.
Regarding the upstairs air conditioner - this has now been replaced - getting tradesmen during the January holiday period was very difficult.
Regarding the absence of a toaster - there is always a toaster in the kitchen - if not on the bench then in one of the cupboards.

VERY DISSAPOINTING / NEVER AGAIN
Property was not clean, stains on couch, burnt food left in microwave, spider webs all around top balcony after i emailled the owner night before to make sure property was clean. Up stairs air conditioner broken, we were not told nor was it listed as broken in the Stayz listing. Got very hot upstairs. Please bring your own clean linen, would not recommend using the ones at the property.TV did not pick up channel 9 missed the AO Tennis and channel 10. TV was flickering freezing on most stations. Seriously a 300 dollar outdated sanyo tv. Smart TV would be expected you need to upgrade ASAP.Current pictures of the property are 10 years old and do not represent true condition. Strongly suggest alternative accomodation. Messaged owner about these problems to which she replied i will talk to the cleaner. Broken Air conditioner / TV issues have nothing to do with the cleaner. Just fix the problems so the next guests do not have to live in such filth.

The guests who vacated the property two days prior referred to the unit as being clean so to use the term "filth" is neither correct nor appropriate.
Regarding stains on the couch - the covers have now been cleaned at the end of the holiday period.
Regarding the upstairs air-conditioner - this has now been replaced, tradesman were very difficult to get in January, we had a three week wait
Regarding the TV - thank you for your comment - the issue has now been fixed by replacing the aerial
Regarding linen - there is nothing wrong with the linen supplied, much of which is new
Regarding cobwebs and microwave - our cleaner has been made aware and is now more attentive to these issues

Excellent communication, Perfect location for our xmas lunch at RACV resort. Fantastic house, much roomier than expected, very well appointed kitchen. Own garage on site. Short walk to Jan Juc beach. Reasonably priced.Highly recommended

Disappointing
The location of the property and communication with the Property Manager were both excellent, however the online photographs of the unit are not current and sadly do not reflect the true condition of property. The units balcony off the kitchen was unusable as it and the outdoor setting were dirty, covered in cobwebs and leaves and had grasses/weeds growing from the timbers. The towels provided were not fresh and a couple were "yellowed" with age. A second doona we found was covered in what appeared to be chocolate and could not be used. The cupboard in bed 2 was dirty and had an empty "Kit Kat" wrapper in its base. Some of the crockery in the kitchen was found to be greasy (possibly from takeaway meals), the kitchen table is delaminating along its edges. In general it was a disappointing experience for the money spent which could be easily addressed for future customers with a bit of basic care and maintenance to the property and a provision of clean and updated bedding and towels.
Property was clean and tidy, however found a few things lacking in general.
- sofa bed broken ( child had to sleep on sofa as it wouldn’t convert to a bed it was broken)
- front door latch fell apart and bathroom handle catches (kids kept getting stuck in bathroom)
-only 1 toilet which is in bathroom ( not convenient for 5 people)
-lucky to get 2 showers before the hot water ran out ( had to run kettle to do dishes!)

Really enjoyed staying in Jan Juc for the first time in 30 years. Good shops, easy to walk around, the walk to Bells is great and the beaches are accessible and interesting.
Stayed for 6 nights at Noela and Pauls lovely townhouse. Great location in Jan Juc. Multi-level open layout with plenty of space. All basic essentials available. Nice and secure with lockable garage. Highly recommend it.
Second stay in this property with fantastic hosts and we'll be back again. Everything you need in great location. I don't want to say too much as don't want it to be booked out next time we want to visit! Thank you Noela.

Lovely accommodation, very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. It was perfect for a long weekend stay with our 2.5 year old. The communication from the host was very good also as we asked to extend our stay an additional night at last minute which was kindly accommodated.
I spent two nights here with my nephews. The checkin process and communication with the owner was really easy and straightforward. The place was really nice! Clean and lots of space. There’s a great balcony overlooking the park across the road. I was really happy with the place and would definitely stay there again!
