Oats Cottage is a quality fully furnished Cottage in the centre of Hahndorf and is located exclusively within its own grounds as opposed to a motel, annex to another house or a unit in a complex, thus providing guests with the upmost privacy yet so close to all the attractions! We have also been established for a number of years and pride ourselves on providing quality yet affordable accomodation.

Oats Cottage is a quaint, comfortable, small cottage and not suitable for large groups or persons needing that extra room or three!

We have in excess of over 300 glorious and simply beautiful testimonials recommending Oats Cottage to others with a high number of guests returning year in, year out, which simply says it all!

A beautifully presented, peaceful cottage, only a short walk from the heart of Hahndorf. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. A perfect base to explore the shops, markets, cafes and wineries. Mark was friendly and helpful and provided us with local knowledge of things to do in the town and surrounds.We highly recommend Oats Cottage and look forward to returning in the near future.

This cottage is excellent. Mike and Kate have obviously investigated the holday accommodation business thoroughly and it shows. The cottage is in immaculate condition and it is very convenient to the cafe, coffee and cake culture that Hahndorf has to offer. Breakfast at Cafe Assiette is to be recommended. Beautiful, Cozy and I was pleasantly surprised!

I spent 3 weeks here in January 2023. Mike (the owner) was very attentive and allowed me to check-in early. The cottage was packed full of pleasant surprises! From tea and coffee, crumpets, butter, vegemite, hot cereal and a bottle of wine! Along all the amenities of living at home including a BBQ grill! Also included was Netflix! Thank you, Mike, for all you provided and did for me including the sheet and towel exchanges. I loved your rain-head high pressure shower too! :)

This house is meant for a stay of 2 people. Any more than that and you won't even have enough chairs to watch TV. Not as clean as you would expect for the price you are paying. All cleaning products including bath and shower products are passed on from guest to guest. They are not new. Towels were old and shabby. Would be fine if you were only 2 people staying and were expecting 3 star.

We expected it to be good but the experience far exceeded expectations. There was not a single thing to criticize and Mike made sure that we were completely satisfied. Wonderful cottage for a relaxing getaway

Had a fabulous short getaway in Oats Cottage. The cottage was very well presented, spotless, very comfortable and was ideal for visiting Handoffs' many attractions. Mike was very helpful with the booking and check in process and also provided lots of info on local businesses and attractions. Wheelchair access

Comfortable but for people in wheelchairs the bathroom is not suitable as shower not big enough and shower head is fixed and tiles are not non-slip. Carpet is problem in lounge and bedroom.
