About Cathy Anne Hingley
I absolutely love living in the Perth Hills, surrounded by nature and yet so close and convenient to everything! We are so spoilt for choice for great food and wineries! Yet the beach is straight down the highway 35 minutes away! I love children and seeing them learn and appreciate the freedom of life on the farm, it makes it all worthwhile! My animals are family members and very dear to my heart!
Cathy Anne Hingley purchased this Cottage in 2008

We had a lovely peaceful stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city
A perfect place for a family to enjoy the natural outdoors! Our grandson loved feeding the animals and the chickens, riding the pony was his highlight..
Serene & enriching stay!
Our host Cathy was such a lovely lady and made us feel at home. The kids loved the farm activities & playing with Tux the most! Cottage wise was decent & have almost the amenities and we do slept well throughout our stay! Thank you Cathy for having us!
Best family short break ever!
What a magical place! This is our second time here, this time with a 2.5 and 4 year old. From the moment we arrived the kids were entertained with the numerous toys and activities. The morning and afternoon feeding sessions with the animals was a hit.
The kids loved their bedroom and we loved the peace and tranquility. All so close to Perth and everything you could possibly think of was supplied.
Cathy and her trusty dog were fantastic with the kids going above and beyond their duty. Thank you!!!
We’ll be back.
Cathy was absolutely lovely and provided for a warm and comfortable stay at the cottage. Both Lauren and Cathy were wonderful with our small kids (2 demanding toddlers!) and truly left them with an unforgettable experience, especially the daily animal feeds and horse riding.
The cottage is in a peaceful location, just a short drive away from daily conveniences, wineries, restaurants etc. Highly recommended for a family retreat!
Thank you Kee & Shirleen, we loved having you here and look forward to welcoming you back! Your babies are a credit to you! Cathy
Thank you Cathy and her helpers for making our stay so fantastic. The kids loved their daily animal feeding run and pony rides. The cottage was clean, comfortable and warm even though it was rainy for some of our stay. There are toys for inside and out to keep the kids too busy to be bored. The country garden is fantastic for adults to relax in and kids to explore. Cathy went that extra step to make sure our stay was the best she could make it. I can't thank her enough for her care.
Thank you Michelle, you are an amazing Nanna to your Grandkids and they are all such lovely children! I truly hope to see you all again!
Another great experience for the family
This is our second stay with Cathy after our first trip last year...the kids totally enjoyed themselves feeding the animals and wondering around the farm. Tux is still ever energetic and the first thing my son woke up was to walk out of the house to play with Tux who is very gentle with the kids (9, 6 and 3). Cathy was great in guiding the kids in handling the animals and we felt safe letting the kids play and wonder outside by themselves. My kids already missed the farm and wants to go back again next year. The house was well stocked with toys and kitchen equipment that it really feels like a home.
