Tranquil escape

Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful owners and amazing complimentary breakfast on first morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our very relaxing few days, sitting on the balcony watching the kangaroos. Great place to stay and we hope to come back sometime.

Bickley break

Petra and Harry made us feel so welcome. Their spacious cottage is beautifully presented and great care has been taken to ensure the heritage characteristics are preserved. Fabulous vistas across the valley and close proximity to some great vineyards and restaurants.

A beautiful place… the view and quietness were sublime. Terrific hosts. Gorgeous bed sheets, lovely surroundings..the house itself, creaky, character filled, and spotless and beautiful. Just what I needed.

Hidden Gem

Such a stunning little part of the world. We had such a lovely visit to Bickley Valley Cottage. It was immaculately clean (and I am fussy!). Everything you could want was in the cottage and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast option is a must have, so delicious and charming. We are keen to return for another weekend of bliss. Serene stay close to city

This property is absolutely stunning. Such a quaint cottage overlooking a valley. Hard to believe this level of tranquility exists so close to the city. The host was lovely and so accommodating. Gave us an overview of the property’s history, ideas on where to go for lunch and wine tasting and even gave us a slightly later check out. Fabulous experience.

Ladies Getaway

Scenery just so beautiful. Loved the tranquil stunning vista from our balcony deck.. Breakfast basket was just delicious. Bedrooms and beautiful linen so comfortable and decor was just gorgeous especially Petra’s artworks and pottery. Petra and Harrie were very accomodating. Unfortunately Oven, Rangehood and some lighting were not operational but Harrie offered to heat our food in their own oven. All in all a truly lovely experience Thankyou

Relaxing family getaway

We had a wonderful stay at The Bickley Cottage. The property is just magical. The view is something that is to be seen to be believed. It is just amazing. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. Petra answered so many questions that my children asked her and was very accommodating to them. The cottage has been decorated fitting to its history and we instantly felt very comfortable and relaxed. Everything has been thought of and all the comforts that anyone could ever want for a beautiful stay are provided. Thank you, Petra and Harrie, for a beautiful getaway. It was exactly what our family needed.

Amazing

A wonderful getaway, with incredible views of the valley. The hosts are genuine and kind and very accommodating!!! The chicken are too cute and the walking tracks are uplifting. Wonderful 3 days away from normal city life.

My wife and I had a great stay here. The breakfast is super generous and lovingly prepared -- we felt very spoiled. All the rooms a beautifully curated with historical touches and country chic mod/cons. We felt really comfy and the views of the hills are truly stunning. We'll be back for sure.
