Beautiful property, very clean and stocked with everything needed. Host is very nice and helpful and responds quickly to questions. Our family loves it there and will be back!
The property was beautiful and had everything that we needed. The property owners were extraordinary! We felt very well taken care of.I would recommend this property 100%.We found a lot to do in the surrounding area and the hike on the property was fantastic!
We loved everything about our stay. We have family in the area and this was a wonderful place to have family visit and enjoy dinner at the house. We will be back!
This is our second time staying at this property, a few years apart, and it’s just as clean, well appointed, and spacious as before. The location is perfect- between Hardwick and Greensboro- easy to get to Willey’s, Perfect Pie, Front Seat, Wilson’s, the Lake, and close to Hill Farmstead. This area of VT has a special place in our heart and this is the perfect spot for our family to enjoy it.
Perfectly situated 7 minutes from wedding venue. Accommodations clean and comfortable for our family. Parents and two adult children with their spouses. Attentive hosts.
Our family of five had a great week staying here while we helped friends on a nearby farm. We weren’t really tourists in the area, but there is a great welcome binder provided as well. The location is great for Hardwick and Greensboro, property was super clean and well kept, kitchen fully stocked, and the water and dryer very much appreciated after days on the farm. Also importantly, the beds were comfortable. :) Thanks for sharing!
Views from the panoramic winds in living room, kitchen and dining room were amazing. Owner’s Liz & Chad live across the highway and were very attentive. House is on a working farm which was kinda cool. Three miles to town which was convenient. Positive Pie was an awesome place to eat and drink in Hardwick!! We stayed 7 days and we traveled in all directions and everything to see was less than an hour drive. My wife and I would highly recommend this property if want to see peace and quite with access all that Vermont has to offer! Must see Stowe,VT, covered bridges in Montgomery, VT, and lake Willoughby, Clear Lake & Caspain north of the property. Must eat at Pro-Pig in Waterbury after Ben & Jerry ice cream plant tour and Snow Shoe Lodge & Pub in Montgomery Center, VT on way back from seeing covered bridges built in late 1800’s.
My husband and I did a road trip with our golden retriever, and we stayed here durning the last leg of our trip to see the fall colors in Vermont. This home is beautiful, and the added conveniences of being pet friendly and having access to the garage were great.
The property is also gorgeous, and the views are stunning. You can look out of the kitchen window and get that perfect postcard shot. The town was also great because it was nice to come back from the wildness of Stowe and Woodstock to have dinner, shop, and get groceries in a more relaxed setting. Would highly recommend!
The home was very comfortable and had everything we could want. The kitchen was well stocked with all pot, pans and dishes we could use. It has some basic pantry items. I used their open olive oil and left my new bottle. The deck and grill made for some great outdoor time. Great views. Bedrooms and bathrooms on both floors so if one has difficulty with stairs there are no problems. Highly recommend this rental.
This house is amazing! Spacious, well equipped/stocked, comfortable, and what a yard/location! Fields, cows, sheep, hiking, campfires, watching the sun rise and set. The stars at night are incredible! And Dan was so nice and welcoming!
We met some friends and stayed here over July 4th weekend. 4 adults, 2 young kids, and two dogs. It was a very nice house, and worked well for all of us. There is a propane grill on the deck that isn't listed in the vrbo listing. Our only troubles were pretty minor: We had a question about the dishwasher and Dan answered very quickly, the setting sun shines right through the sliding door to the deck and there's no blinds or curtain. And finally there are a ton of light switches, figuring out which controlled what light was kind of a pain.
We had a wonderful experience. The home was lovely - tastefully decorated, clean, very good amenities. The home is surrounded by open fields that allow one to see far into the distance and to admire the Green Mountains of VT. There is an extensive network of beautifully maintained walking trails on the property that we enjoyed thoroughly.

family time
The purpose was to gather at a cemetery in S Woodbury for burial of my brother's remains
This location of the house was about halfway between S Woodbury and Greensboro which we also love.
The home was beautiful and well kept. The furniture was comfortable and had recliners.
The views were beautiful out every window.
The tile work throughout the house meant that I did not have to worry about doggy nails
The tilework was the prettiest I have ever seen
The bathrooms had beautiful walk in showers and one had a tub as well
I slept in a comfortable King bed.It felt like a tempurpedic and had very nice linens
We enjoyed taking walks down the trail with our dogs off leash. The property is expansive and private and nicely landscaped around the house. Many acres are mowed.
Having morning coffee on the deck was a treat.
One bedroom has a ceiling fan,the other two do not.I would bring a plug in fan if I came again.
We had a great stay especially since we do not travel without our dogs and have previously stayed in pet friendly motels. The hosts even provide blankets to place on the furniture for dogs to lie on.So sweet!
