Just 5 minutes from Yallingup Beach and the iconic Caves House Hotel, you’ll feel worlds away — yet perfectly positioned to explore wineries, caves, coastal walks and local cafés.

Nice quiet place in a great location

THE SETTING: We loved the quiet bush setting, with lots of trees, birds, and country solitude. It was a bit disconcerting to see a large tiger snake right beside the driveway next to our car on the first day, so we had to keep our eyes out for snakes throughout our stay, but we left him alone and didn't see any more of him! There are other cottages nearby (it's part of a larger complex called Yallingup Farm Cottages), and for the most part the neighbours were quiet, although on the Saturday night some people showed up and were playing music until around midnight, including some awful sounding saxophone! The location is superb, being close to Yallingup (Smiths Beach and Canal Rocks are an easy drive away), and also within easy driving distance of the shops in Dunsborough. INDOORS: There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two bunk beds. There's not a lot of extra room besides the beds, but it is adequate. The living area had a couple of couches and a dining table which could seat six. There's one toilet and one small bathroom - the shower didn't provide consistent temperatures with water, going from hot to cold and hot rather unpredictably, and took some figuring out. It was nice having a dishwasher and air conditioning, as well as a TV/DVD player. There were some spider webs on the ceilings, and the building is showing some age (which is part of its charm), but overall it was tidy and fine for our family. OUTDOORS: We really enjoyed the outdoor areas, with a comfortable couch on the front veranda, and an armchair and dinner table on the back verandah. Beautiful places to sit and relax with a good book! We had a lovely week, and would recommend this place.

We haven't ever seen a snake there ourselves but it is a good reminder to us that they are there so it is always a good idea to keep an eye out especially during summer. Loved it

A homely cottage in peaceful surroundings, thank you for a wonderful week stay! The cottage has a percolated coffee machine and everything you need. We walked to Caves House and Yallingup beach on a small track on the inside of caves road. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, located in my favourite region of WA.

Great cottage in peaceful bush setting close to Yallingup.

The cottage is located well off Caves Road, so is very quiet and private. It is less than 5 mins drive from Yallingup & only 10 mins drive from Dunsborough. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need, all you have to bring is food. The bush setting is wonderful, because you can sit on the front or back patio and watch the birds, lizards & kangaroos. At night, you can get to sleep easily with the sound of frogs in the background. Yallingup Cottage is a great place for a holiday and I would definitely come back again.

Cosy and comfy cottage in peaceful bushland location

Property was clean and really well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. It was relaxing to sit under the verandahs and watch the birds and then get the fire going in the evenings. Comfy beds and all the other furniture and appliances were clean, tidy and in good working order.

Quiet location!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was clean, neat and perfect for a weekend getaway. I loved the birds and the rabbits, although there were no kangaroos :( The fireplace was great for the cool spring evenings.

Cheap accommodation with everything you need.

Location - perfect location settled in a private and very quiet estate. Only minutes from the canel rocks, wineries and the heart of Yallingup. Cottage - she may be a simple little cottage but after driving 2500kms from Broome we arrived and everything was right at our feet. Just a little list - firewood, coffee, sugar, shampoo, sauces, washing powder, games and SO much more!! It was home away from home with nothing missing at all. Owners - id spoken to the owner several times and they were very accommodating on many occasions. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Perfect little getaway!

This little cottage is a lovely place to getaway too... It is perfectly located close to Yallingup and Dunsborough and less than 30 Min from Margs... The rammed earth walls gave it a very cosy and grounded feeling. THe bed was comfortable and the spare room has plenty of space for about 4 kids... It is simply GREAT value!

Value for Money

We were lucky to secure this property for the March long weekend after a cancellation. It's location to Yallingup Beach, Dunsborough and further on to Margaret River was perfect for us and our two teenage boys. The property was clean, well maintained and quiet, located well away from main roads. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) and the bush view out the cleanest windows I have every seen was perfect.

We loved the rammed earth, high ceilings and fireplace. We felt at home the moment we walked inside.

We loved all the trees and native bushes which attracts so much wildlife. The land size is still easy enough to look after however large enough for kids to explore and play.
