Bright, modern newly refurbished open plan 1 bedroom shack, perfect place for a couple wanting a relaxing weekend away.

Stroll down to the towns Alfresco cafe, shops, restaurants & Murray River or simply relax at home with a BBQ.

Equipped with a kitchenette that provides a microwave, air fryer and hot plate (no oven) modern furniture inside & out. Two entertaining areas with BBQ and Webber. Note w/c is under main roof, access from side carport.

This shack caters for humans and their pets offering a large fully enclosed yard with ample parking space for cars and boats. Side carport with side access into home. No WIFI sorry!

Explore the Fleurieu Peninsulas many tourist attractions from food and wine trials + markets to fantastic cycle rides. Port Elliot to Victor Harbour are in close driving distance or leave the car at home and take the Cockle Train to either town and explore on foot.

Next door 1 bedroom stone cottage available for rent too. Great opportunity to combine family holidays alongside each other. Own private yard and pet friendly. Message me re booking (The Old Cottage & the shack as a package)

Value for money, great location, probably could do with a deep clean in all the corners and the mould in the shower needs attention. It would also be good to know beforehand that there is an outside toilet . I really feel bad finding fault but there is so much potential in the property. I enjoyed my stay...bed comfy, bedding clean and fresh.

I do appreciate your comments regarding the cleaning and the shower, and we’ll certainly take these on board. Just to provide some context regarding the property, The Shack is priced very affordably and is considerably cheaper than staying at a caravan park in Goolwa. We’ve intentionally kept the price low to offer guests an affordable option to enjoy the area while staying in a unique little property. Regarding the toilet, this is actually clearly noted in the Shack’s amenities and description. It is located under the main roof of the Shack, with access via the covered carport, so guests are advised of this prior to booking. We really appreciate you recognising that the property has a lot of potential, and we’re always grateful for constructive feedback that helps us continue to improve. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your experience.

Communication with Nat was easy and prompt. The check in was really easy too and the shack has everything you need for a stay. Even though there's no kitchen as such, the shack well equipped with a hotplate, toaster, Airfryer, pots and more. It was really easy to cook a nice meal. The bed was comfortable and warm and the bathroom is well supplied as well. The shack is quite central to explore the wider region as well. I enjoyed my stay :)

Lovely little shack, had everything I needed. Clean and cosy. Perfect yard for my small Jack Russell who tried to escape but couldn’t. Host was friendly and check in was easy. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely cottage, clean, quiet and comfortable. Well appointed with double hotplate, toaster, bbq, air fryer and other appliances. Similarly pots, pans and cutlery well catered as well as bathroom toiletries and cleaning agents. Very homely with a nice yard. All good.

A fantastic place to stay! The location was perfect for walking to the main street and wharf. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Everything we needed for our stay. Our doggo also thoroughly enjoyed the large enclosed yard to run around in. Bonus seeing the Cockle Train go past regularly! We will be back!
