The Neighborhood: Eagle Bay is one of the most sought-after destinations in the South West, thanks to its stunning coastal views, pristine beaches and secluded position north of Dunsborough. Tucked away in the Meelup Regional Park, it is a nature lover's dream, and we challenge anyone to get tired of swimming in the picture perfect water, lounging on the soft white sand, or enjoying the world class views! Explore the park trails or while away the days at the beach - your holiday, your pace.
Eagle Bay is in the perfect position to pop into Dunsborough for all of your shopping needs, and to explore the northernmost part of the cape (Cape Naturaliste), where you will be treated to secluded beaches, dramatic rock formations and crystal-clear, turquoise waters as far as the eye can see. It really is paradise!
Please see our Guidebook for our personal recommendations for the local area.
The Margaret River Wine Region is one of the most prestigious winemaking areas in the world. Considered a “boutique” region, production is relatively small and quality-focused. The unique microclimates and fabulous soils here mean that producers are able to make some of the world’s best Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with a host of other single varietal and blend wines; most wineries will have a good selection of options, including various sparkling wines, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz if the flagship varieties aren’t your cup of tea. Many of these wineries are also home to phenomenal restaurants, and your dining options will range from full tasting menus to casual pizzas or grazing boards. If you have any particular restaurant on your wish list, we strongly recommend booking ahead all year round. In peak summer season (December-February), bookings are essential and may need to be made several weeks or months in advance. Please contact us directly if you would like tailored recommendations for your self-guided winery and/or brewery tour. If you have time, we highly recommend buying a ticket onto one of the many locally operated winery and brewery tour buses, for an unforgettable day out of excellent food and drink.

Perfect location, comfortable beds, beautiful outlook over canopy of trees and birds. Beautiful walks along beach front, excellent ammenities. Excellent service. Sofa need replacing but Stayz are following up on this. Otherwise 10/10
Pros - well equipped kitchen (perfect for Christmas Day roast!) and dining area, beautiful nature views, nice big deck to watch the sunset with a glass of wine, comfortable beds and clean linen and bathrooms
Cons - couch definitely on its last legs and needs replacing, would be nice to have some blinds on windows to stop sun/glare shining in (especially in summer), was disappointing to have a neighbour complaint at 9.30pm on our first night (Friday) because 7 women talking & laughing on the deck was too loud :( kind of put a dampener on start of weekend.
Overall though, we had a good weekend and was very lucky with the weather considering it's winter!

Hi Aimee
Thank you for your review. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunatley being at the top of a valley the noise does travel thank you so much for moving inside. The couch is leather and is being repaired this month so it should be lovely if you do return. We have blinds in all rooms accept the main living area as we want guests to be surrounded by the bush scenery. In summer the large front veranda provides lots of shade onto the windows so it has never been a problem.
Kind Regards
Cheryl
The Tree House is a big house with many bedrooms and a huge terrace (180 m2). The house is somewhat pompous and has beautiful spots. It certainly is a nice house. Unfortunately the house is in a bad shape and a disgrace and we strongly recommend not to book this expensive house!
1. The lock at the main entrance door is defect. Once, upon leaving the house, we were not able to open the door anymore and were locked out and had to climb back on the terrace (3 m above ground) with the help of ropes.
2. The whole house has only one air conditioner. On hot days the main bedroom is not usable because it has no air conditioning and gets extremely hot (> 30° C). We had to sleep in the living room.
3. Dish washer doesn't work properly and needs maintenance.
4. Gas stove in kitchen doesn't work properly and needs maintenance.
5. Live TV does not work on hot evenings.
6. Dishes were very dirty. On arrival day we first had to wash our plates, glasses, forks and knives.
7. When we arrived (Tuesday), both rubbish bins were full.

I'm so sorry to hear this property didn't meet your expectations. It is a beautiful house and usually a favourite among guests but we will certainly take your feedback on board. We haven't had any problems with the front lock before so we will definitely have that looked at. Please note, in that instance someone from our team would have happily attended the property to assist.

We had a group of 8 stay at this lovely property and highly recommend it. Has everything you need and is a beautiful spot top wake up to - also such great value for money!
The house is the perfect property for families. Closely located near the best beaches of Cape Naturaliste and the south region.
Sofa could do with a change as you can feel the woods and are not comfortable.
Kitchen and house are well equipped.
The home and the views are breathtaking. I think being in the middle of the bush, and the fact the home is architecturally breathtaking with the views of the bush everywhere, meant that we literally felt all of our stress fall away. I've come back to work feeling invigorated.
The house was very clean with plenty of space for our family. The kitchen was well equipped and decking enjoyable to stay out on for meals and drinks. Location is great with it being walking distance to the beach and setting in a very quiet location in the bush. Cheryl was also very helpful with ensuring we had the details for checking in.
We all absolutely loved our stay at the Treehouse. The expansive deck amongst the trees is magical. Beautiful house, well equipped, and very clean. Fabulous location to the beach and trails.
myself and my group of Girlfriends came down an stayed at this lovely property over the long weekend. Nestled in amongst the tree's it really is a treehouse but it was just beautiful. the house was fantastic the heating throughout the house was fantastic and worked wonders.
overall our stay was amazing thank you
Our second time staying here. Gorgeous, relaxing location. Plenty of room for our group of girls for a get away. Easy access to wineries, brewing and distillery. We feel recharged and ready for a busy lives again !
Perfect place to stay for a few days in the lead up to our wedding. Ali was incredibly helpful and kind, and always advised of any issues directly with us. Would recommend :)
This house has a world class location with stunning views. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. The house has a bit more wear and tear than we expected (badly stained carpets, lightbulbs not working) but some of these are being addressed by the property managers and others are probably down to the owner e.g. need for new carpet). It represents good value if the cost is split by several couples. A relaxing escape!
Lovely rammed earth home. The view from the deck in the morning was divine. Tranquil setting, very little noise. Easy ride to the beach.
Be aware that the house has 3 levels, so there are stairs. Excellent garage for safe storage of beach equipment. Very clean house on arrival. Fantastic choice for a family holiday in Eagle Bay.
Wonderful environment in a quiet bushland setting. Short walk to Eagle Bay Beach.
The home, particularly the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable family holiday.
Highly recommended
we loved the site, with treetop views to the north and west, massive deck area and living room allowed us to spread out and relax between visits to the beach
