About this property

Dunes Beach House Goolwa Beach

Spacious 2 bedroom home. With a large living room, separate dining room, full kitchen with dishwasher, large bathroom, plus a sun room for storage or for your pets to sleep.

An ideal home for a relaxing fun holiday with plenty of room for a family or couples.

Landscaped with a great grass area, under cover entertaining area, kids playground and a pool table in the garage.

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and Built in Robe with plenty of storage. Bedroom 2 has a Double bed and single bed with trundle. There is also a sofa bed in the dining room if required.

All beds include pillow and mattress protectors, linen, quilt with cover, bathroom towels, face washers, bath mat and hand towels. There are spare quilts, covers and blankets available for extra bedding. You will need to bring:

- beach towels
- linen for the port-a-cot
- dog beds (there is 1 small one available)
- sheets for any extra bedding used (trundle and/or sofa bed)

For the little ones there is a high Chair and port-a-cot available.

We are pet friendly there is a small sleep out area for your pets and a secure side and rear yard. No pets on the beds or furniture please.

Convenient circular driveway for your boat or trailer.

The Lounge room has a ceiling fan, split system and a combustion fire place. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. The main bedroom also has a split system.

Please leave the house clean and tidy. If the house is left in a condition where it will take longer than 2 hours to clean, an extra cleaning charge (by the hour) will be deducted from your bond.

Smoking is outdoors only, thank you.

There are beach toys for the kiddies including body boards, beach cart, plus kids books, DVDs and games, toys for outside and for at the beach for all to enjoy.

Perfect location

Perfect location, close to beach and shops. Very private and located in a dead end street so very limited traffic. Pet friendly with fully enclosed back yard. Loved the toys/book for our 15 month old.

Wonderful location!

We had a wonderful stay at The Dunes. The house was airy and bright with space for our pooches to come along and join the fun. Our entire family loved being so close to the beach for a daily swim and walk on the sand. We will definitely be back again soon!

We loved it here stayed for Christmas, such a lovely place and great location too. Well equipped house, dishwasher was a blessing. Comfy beds and nice and clean too. Communication was great with the owner too even left us a card and chocs for Christmas. Will def be back.

Great Beach Break

Great place for a family who love the beach. Our kids age 10 and 11 loved the pool table and the freedom of being able to nip through the dunes to the beach. Perfect if you want to surf but don't want to have to strap the board to the roof and drive to the waves. Would definitely recommend this accomodation.

The Dune House

Fantastic place to stay. My partner and I brought our 2 dogs who thoroughly enjoyed the very close proximity to an amazing beach. The side access gate made it easy to put our dogs in the backyard where there was fresh rain water to rinse off the sand. The sounds of the surf, the native bird life fluttering around while relaxing ina sunny position on the rear verandah made my visit complete. Thank you Mel, we will definitely come back

Great little staycation

Cute little house with everything you need. House was super close to the beach and we went for walks twice a day. Kids enjoyed the games room and playing pool and the board games. Yard was safe and secure for our dog. Thank you for making the Dunes’s a holiday house we can share in. We will definitely be back.

Great little hideaway - child and pet friendly

Great little hideaway. Very clean and well equipped. 2 mins from the beach. Set up perfectly for little people - the toys, swings and safe backyard were a hit. Being able to take our dog was also a bonus, he loved the bag of treats left for him.

Enjoyable family getaway

Our family enjoyed our Goolwa getaway. Location was excellent, & especially close to the beach & the bike path. The boys loved the combustion fireplace as it was the first time they saw how to light/stoke a fire.

Great position with easy beach access. Quiet location and a neat, clean, comfortable beach house with everything you need. Safe, tidy backyard for dogs and easy to clean interior. Walking distance to beach cafe and a short drive to shopping centre and a variety of cafes etc. Perfect spot for exploring Goolwa, Middleton and Pt Elliot.

We have stayed here a couple of times and love the location for an easy beachside relaxing holiday. The house has all you need and always neat and tidy. Will be back again.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

Seeking a quick getaway for an extended weekend, and the opportunity to gain some peace and quiet - the Dunes Beach House at Goolwa Beach did not disappoint. Whilst the décor can be described as simple - its absolutely all one needs, requiring some simple bedding and bathroom needs. Communication with the owner was very easy - a small issue with the Hot Water Unit not being switched on was solved within minutes, by phone. A two minute walk over the sand dunes to a long beach, allowed for great walking. Kitchen is well set up - bathroom is roomy, although shower is a bit small and could benefit with a shelf for incidentals. TV and DVD player were excellent and easy to use. Bed used was comfortable - and the place is really quiet - just what we needed.

Great location

I took my wife for a relaxing stay at The Dunes for her birthday. It was awesome that our little pooch could join our family unit for the holiday too! The accommodation was tastefully renovated with a brand new bathroom and excellent kitchen. The AC worked great and the beds were comfortable... what more could you ask for? A short stroll to the beach was our favourite part!! We are heading back soon for another stay with friends... this is the place to be for lazy weekends by the seaside!

The Dunes was clean, comfortable & great value. The renovated bathroom & kitchen were lovely. Beds were very clean & comfortable & rooms set up well. Fabulous location so close to the beach. We have enjoyed holidays at Goolwa Beach and Middleton for the past 18 years. We love visiting regularly.

Why they chose this property

So close to the beach an amazing location. The house has 2 bedrooms but is spacious with the living areas, kitchen and outdoors. Very kid friendly lots of games and toys to keep them occupied so all can relax plus the playground and pool table are a bonus.
