Moriarty Retreat - couple's luxe getaway

Welcome to Moriarty Retreat, the perfect place to soak up the peace, tranquility and views across 5 stunning acres. Perfect for a couple, the accommodation is spacious with king bedrooms, open plan living, luxury bathroom, toilet and an outdoor spa. Superfast internet.

The Space
We live on the property, two of us and one inquisitive Lakeland Terrier. The studio retreat and main house are under one long roofline, though totally separated. Each module is private and has its own entrance and car parking.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place for you. We won't bother you but we're always available for advice or help.

Inside, quality furnishings and contemporary art add a high level of comfort and interest. Outside, spotting the wide array of birdlife is captivating at close quarters from the elevated deck. The deck is the perfect place to relax with a locally sourced glass of wine while watching the sun go down.

This is a great spot for a romantic getaway! The master bedroom with its luxurious king bed and quality bedding looks across the elevated deck and stunning view.

The luxury bathroom has a free-standing bath and huge shower together with a separate toilet/powder room. The lounge area has a 65 inch Samsung Smart TV with the full Foxtel package and Netflix. A Sonos sound system to play your favourite music. We have a superfast Starlink internet connection.

The kitchen contains a hot plate, small convection oven/microwave, quality cookware, air fryer, slow cooker, rice cooker, toaster, coffee machine, serving dishes, kitchen utensils and dishwasher. A Weber BBQ sits on the deck along with a day bed and a couple of Adirondack chairs.

There is a wood-burning stove - great for those Winter nights where you just want to stay in, light the fire and be cosy. Living and bedroom areas all have ceiling fans and there is a split reverse cycle air-conditioner in the living area, providing cool air which tends to travel through to the bedroom.

A newly installed spa awaits on its own private deck area. It offers an amazing spa pool experience with dual loungers and hydrotherapy massage.

Quality bedding and towels provided. Dedicated external parking area on the property.

There are so many things to do within a 10-15 minute drive of the property as you are conveniently located close to Dunsborough town and beach, Yallingup beach, Smith's beach, Simmos' ice-creamery, local wineries and much more.

No animals/pets please.

Great place to stay!

We had an excellent stay - a beautiful property and a tranquil place to relax in the Margaret River region, and well located to travel to various sights. Great views from the balcony where we saw a family of ducks with ducklings. Particularly loved the fireplace!

Lovely

We have spent 3 lovely days in Yallingup in this great property. Facilities were excellent clean and beautifully presented. The scenery was picturesque and the wildlife friendly. The little dog from next door came to visit and was a real character. I definitely recommend a stay at this property

Fabulous retreat

We had the most wonderful stay at Tresor-Trove. Everything was clean and the kitchen was SO well stocked. Access to Sonos and all entertainment was easy to use. We especially appreciated the welcome packet with places to visit and shop for our stay. The setting was perfect with kangaroos and all kinds of birds in the yard and our kids had a blast exploring. We definitely give this spot 5 stars!

Great place to relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife

We have stayed in a number of properties in the Margaret River / Yallingup area, by far this is the best so far. Fantastic garden and outlook from the balcony, we saw many different types of birds and of course Kangaroos in the evening and early morning. Thank you for a great stay, and the beds were super comfortable.

We loved staying at Tresor-Trove. Perfect for the whole family. Accommodation was beautiful, clean and so comfortable. The gardens and surrounds are so lovely and peaceful, we loved spending our afternoons on the deck watching the kangaroos and listening to the birds. Beds were amazing, quality linen which I find always makes the difference! So much space here! They have provided everything you would need for a memorable stay, and have a detailed Welcome book which was great too, and we enjoyed the complimentary wine on arrival. Would love to return in the future.

WOW! Amazing house, amazing location!

WOW! What an amazing house and stunning location! It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere with no neighbours in sight and such beautiful scenery to look out to from the enormous balcony! This place was fully equiped with EVERYTHING you need and we were even gifted with a bottle of wine on arrival! We will definitely be visiting again! X

Amazing house and property in a serene location

Fantastic experience - spacious and modern / artistic venue with absolutely everything you could need to be comfortable. The property fitted 8 easily, the house was perfectly situated between wineries, breweries and restaurants. The fire place was great in winter nights and the open plan windows opened up to a beautiful and peaceful bush scene. Thank you for having us, we will recommend to all our friends! Thank you xx

Tranquil Oasis

What a gorgeous place to relax and unwind. This property is so well equipped, it truly is a home away from home. The kitchen has everything you could want and more. I cooked up a storm using local fresh produce, and all the utensils, pans, trays I needed were there. Brenda and Paul were so delightful to deal with and nothing was a hassle for them (even our very last minute booking request!). If you are a small family travelling with younger children, just be aware of the layout of the house. It is spilt into two separate living-quarters. That wasn't an issue for us with teenagers, but a few years ago we would have had to sleep in the guest wing with them (there is plenty of room, but it would be a shame not to use the awesome master suite!). We will certainly be back again soon.

Amazing holiday in beautiful surrounds

Tresor-Trove-Trove was everything we had hoped for and more. Beautiful house with stunning, peaceful surrounds. The house is split into two separate residences which makes it ideal for two families or for if you are traveling with older children. We spent most of our time out on the beautiful verandah watching the local wildlife and with the occasional visit from Chester the dog from next door. We loved Tresor-Trove-Trove and hope to return again.

Even more amazing than the pictures

The house was absolutely beautiful, so big and the view was just amazing. The beds were so comfy. It was beautifully clean. Good quality linens and towels. A cute and friendly dog that came to visit and the kids absolutely loved. The kitchen included every appliance you could need. The owners left a beautiful bottle of red which was lovely of them. I loved The soaps they left in the main bedroom. Would definitely stay again, I never wanted to leave. Only thing I could recommend is that their be another microwave in the main kitchen. Also a better vacuum cleaner to help with the clean up at the end. Not needed but would just make it even more perfect.

Wonderful Stay

I stayed in the property for 4 nights with family and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The property has a lovely relaxing feel which made the time away from sightseeing one of the most enjoyable of the trip. We found staying as Tresor-Trove exceptionally relaxing. The house has everything you need to relax and unwind. The kitchen is wonderful to cook in and the music collection and speaker system are fabulous. Our favourite part of our stay was to wake up each morning and look at the view of the garden and surrounds. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Home!

We booked Tresor-Trove for my Mum's 65th Birthday and we're so glad we did! House accommodated both adults and kids perfectly! Following the sun while sitting on the deck and watching the kids play was very relaxing! Chester kept the kids occupied! Well appointed Kitchen & Bathrooms, plenty of storage and clean. Our stay was an awesome experience!

Everyone in our family loves the property and fully appreciated every little thought that was put into making it a lovely home, even for short stays (like ours was). Such as the fruit trees (belated thanks for the lemons!), the complete AppleTV channels, a fully equipped kitchen and its compliment of cooking spices, the lake and oh, those trees! What a lovely property and space...We still think and talk about it (apologies that I am much delayed in writing this review)! Best surprise was energetic little Chester sent to welcome us upon our arrival with an introduction name-tag and thereafter popping by to greet us every afternoon (or perhaps patrolling to ensure the wild rabbits are not up to some mischief!?!?). We also stopped by in the garden to say hello to Chester's older brother, Charlie. Thank you, Brenda & Paul, for the stay and the beautiful experience!

Fantastic stay for bridal party!

My partner and I got married last weekend and we put up our bridal party at this home with us. The house is divided into two wings, with ample space to spread out. Both wings have a kitchen each. And the views from the property are just amazing. We took some pre wedding photos on the property, down by the stream that runs across the property. Will definitely return again to stay. There was even a computer and printer at the home for last minute printing of speeches etc. Just a fantastic stay :)

Absolutely Beautiful!

Such a lovely home. Peaceful, private and unbelievably well equipped. Had everything we could possibly want including space to be away from each other....if desired! Great location for spring-boarding out of to see Western Australia's special southern corner.
