Welcome to Ruby’s Lakehouse, a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin set on the peaceful shores of Douglas Lake. With sweeping mountain views, year-round lake access, and seasonal dock availability, this retreat is perfect for water lovers and families seeking both relaxation and adventure.



Relax & Enjoy

Spend your mornings with coffee on the back balcony, your afternoons out on the private boat ramp and dock (seasonal March–September), and your evenings gathered around the fire pit overlooking the lake. Inside, cozy up by the gas fireplace, host movie nights on the flat-screen TV, or prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen. For outdoor dining, fire up the gas grill and enjoy a meal with stunning lake and mountain views.

Douglas Lake is very peaceful. We enjoyed the scenery and sunsets. Ruby’s Lake House’s deck was where we spent most of our time - relaxing, eating, and watching the activity on the lake.

Wonderful place

This was our first stay here and we loved it. The lake is beautiful and right outside your back door. The house is exactly as described. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic place!!

My family loved this lakeside cabin! Very clean and we loved the rustic cabin feel. My wife and I had coffee every morning on the dock..so peaceful. We were dropping our daughter off at UT which is under an hour and an easy drive. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Lovely Mini-Vacation

Cabin was beautiful and clean, beds were comfortable, all amenities were acceptable. Only drawback was the roads we had to drive to get to the cabin. Lots and lots of twists and turns, to be expected in Sevierville, but did not expect this when going to the lake.

Our stay at Rubys cabin.

The cabin was great. We had a wonderful time. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the scenery and listening to the birds. We also did many other activities in the pigeon Forge Gatlinburg area. All in all it was a wonderful trip!

Hidden Gem

Our family loved staying at this lake house! It was clean or cozy just like home! A great place to stay only 30 minutes from Dollywood but tucked away from the hustle of the tourists. The kids enjoyed fishing everyday. We will for sure be back :).

Another great stay at Ruby’s

This was our second time at Ruby’s Lake House and hope to come back. Check in and out was incredibly easy. Itrip management is very easy to deal with..all issues were quickly addressed….not that there were any real issues! The cabin is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Peaceful vacation!

Very cozy, well equipped cabin. Everything you need for a enjoyable vacation. A few minor things….had to sweep the cobwebs from the stairway and deck, poison ivy in yard… All questions were answered very quickly by management company.
