We offer family friendly accomodation in a private space for self-catering, or easy walk to dining options. There is a private covered outdoor entertainment area with furniture & barbeque. Newly renovated kitchen comes with good size fridge, cook top, micro/convection oven, usual electric appliances & front load washing machine.
Spacious living/dining area with comfy lounge, heat pump/air cond., wall mounted TV & radio. Single bed & trundle bed (i.e. 2 beds)
Good size main bedroom queen bed, built-in wardrobe, wall mounted TV.
Roomy bathroom with walk-in shower, wall hung vanity and toilet.
Linen and towels provided. Baby items (Cot/highchair etc.), beach towels & bikes available on request.
Lots of adjacent parking for caravan & boat.

Very spacious and extremely well equipped - excellent cooking facilities, all sorts of utensils, AND a good dishwasher. Outdoor BBQ worked well and avoided much cleaning inside. Location was excellent - near but not quite on the main road, easy walk to shops, short drive to even more shops.

Well-equipped and bigger than the pictures imply

It's a spacious unit with a well-fitted out kitchen and other features (bbq, outdoor dining, shower equipment and more). Everything worked; it's spick and span, nice light, effective heating. It's conveniently located near a Hill Street IGA with a deli that means you really don't need to go out (but you can - though that's easier done for lunch mid-week in the winter).

No Ferry

First time we have been into this interesting area of Tassie. Great to have a washing machine ! The L E D lights were great in the middle of the night. While there was no internet we were able to access that at the Community Centre, and helped by the friendly ladies there. Victor gave us advise about where to go and what to see but we really did think there would be a ferry !!!

Semi retired and enjoying hosting visitors to this wonderful corner of this beautiful state. Lived locally most of my adult life and found no need to move elsewhere permanently.

Why they chose this property

Close to all local services, yet away from hustle and bustle in a roomy accomodation set on a larger allotment in a delightful little seaside township. For action head to the city only 30 minutes scenic drive away to catch a movie at the State Theatre, go shopping, or wander the historic waterfront, dining at numerous eateries or sip a bubbly at Mach 1, or rooftop ale at Telegraph Hotel, or catch the ferry to Mona for a day's unique experience, or experience Casino's Revolving Restaurant or a flutter at the Casino. Or just lay back and enjoy the birds singing, or go for a beachside stroll taking in the numerous headlands for a scenic lookout or a dip in the ocean.
