We stayed for a month and had a pleasant time. The location is easily accessible, a short bus ride to the Crown Casino and close to lots of shops. A comfy suburban house with a lot of space and a bit of wear and tear. Saras is an excellent host— any issue that arose was swiftly sorted out. Neighbours were also very friendly.
This was a perfect house and location for what I needed. Clean, comfortable and priced well. Thanks Saras for hosting our stay.

We had a lovely stay, great location for exploring Perth and nearby Belmont Forum and Garvey Park (river), latter if you have a car. It’s an older style small house with creaky floorboards but renovated bathroom, nice hot water, washing machine and dryer, some pantry items, soap and shampoo which were handy and appreciated, great tv and Netflix, making for well equipped house. 3 bedrooms were great for our family and split systems in each room kept us warm on cold nights. Thanks Saras for having us to stay.

The house in Belmont is situated very close to a good shopping area and eateries, then, a little further out, Belmont Forum which has just about everything. The house itself contains everything you need, like staying at a friends house while they're away. It is a short drive to Graham Farmer Freeway and in the other direction, Midland. We had good communication with our host who notified us of squeaking floorboards. The boards are the original Jarrah flooring, which looks magnificent, and will be perfect once fully secured. Thank you Saras.
Minor issues were attended to immediately. Excellent service from Saras there.There are, however, issues that need to be addressed:1.The cupboard door in the hall needs to be fixed properly. The bottom hinge is insecure2.The non-stick cookware is, in my opinion, unusable. The non-stick surface is damaged throughout. This means it is a health hazard if used.3.Some work needs to be done in the back garden – the rotary line does not turn fully as the trees/shrubs are overgrown and in the way.4.The kitchen and utility room taps both drip. The kitchen tap drips even when the control (hot and cold) is tightened almost to the point of not being able to turn them on.5.The blind in the living room nearest the armchairs needs to be fixed.6.The blind in the bedroom (on the right along the hallway needs to be fixed or replaced. It does not close properly at the bottom allowing sight through from outside.7.The bathroom windows are not secure. They cannot be closed and are, in my opinion, a risk for entry from outside.

I also want to sincerely thank you for highlighting the areas that need attention. I take your concerns seriously and have already begun arranging the necessary improvements:
- Cupboard Door: The loose bottom hinge will be properly repaired to ensure the cupboard is fully secure.
- Non-Stick Cookware: I completely understand your concern — the current set will be replaced with brand new, safe cookware immediately.
- Back Garden: The overgrown trees and shrubs will be trimmed back to allow full use of the rotary line.
- Dripping Taps: A plumber has been scheduled to fix the dripping taps in both the kitchen and utility room.
- Living Room Blind: The blind near the armchairs will be fixed to ensure smooth operation and proper privacy.
- Bedroom Blind: This blind will either be repaired or replaced so that it closes fully and blocks visibility from outside.
- Bathroom Windows: Your safety concern is noted, and I will ensure that the windows are secured properly and can be closed and locked without issue.

Thank you for your feedback, this is an old house where the bathroom has been renovated therefore there is no powerpoint installed when the house was built. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Great place close to the casino and in an ideal location for exploring Perth. House was clean with good quality mattresses and air conditioning in every room. The outdoor area was also great and spacious. I would be very happy to return this accommodation.
Although the property has very little ‘kerb appeal’, the inside is nice and serves the purpose for what we needed - a home away from home to spend a few days over Christmas. The bed was comfortable, and with an air-con in every bedroom plus living room, we coped with the heatwave quite well.
The manager, Michael, was very accommodating - he made sure there was a couple of large oven pans so we could cook Christmas Lunch! :)
The house was reasonably clean in the following areas: bedrooms, toilets, bathroom and lounge however, there were a couple of issues that need addressing, such as thick dust on some appliances and laundry windowsill, 2 light bulbs that didn’t work, making the step in to the laundry dangerous at night! The lack of soap in the bathroom and cracked & nearly empty soap dispenser in the kitchen was disappointing. Finding the ‘slide out tray’ under the toaster full of crumbs, some quite large, also a hair and crumbs/ dirty marks in the cutlery drawer, plus a dripping tap in the laundry, are other examples of how more attention needs to be given to the cleaning and maintenance. Also, only one tea towel, for a 3 day visit was inconvenient and a health issue.
On a positive note, the beds were nicely made up, the cupboard of supplies such as oil, salt, flour, tea and coffee was appreciated as travellers don’t want to purchase some items when they only need a small amount! Also, Michael met us as we were about to leave and was genuinely very open and concerned to hear more about the issues we’d encountered and promised to rectify them asap.

Excellent Home Away From Home
Our stay here was very comfortable and relaxing. The home is in great condition. The service is great. Saras (and her hubby) was always contactable and ever willing to assist every time.
We would surely come back and stay here again the next time we are in Perth. And of course we would be telling friends about this great place to stay in Perth.
