THE BEACHHOUSE

Stingray Beachhouse is a large spacious house directly opposite Emu Point Beach.
It has 5 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 12 people.

Large front verandah facing the ocean, a perfect spot to relax on those lovely summer days and evenings.
Courtyard at the back which provides sunshine and warmth on cool winter days.

5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with a bath), 1 separate toilet
Open plan kitchen / dining / living area with separate lounge area at the front
Kitchen is new and has a lovely cooking and preparation area and is well equipped.

Fully furnished, furniture is comfortable and stylish.

Bed configuration is 3 queen bedrooms, 1 twin room and one large upstairs room with 1 queen bed, 1 double bed and 2 singles.

Linen is provided by the local linen service, Zenith Linen.

Stingray is the ideal house for two families, extended families, a group of couples or a group of singles.

You will be able to fully relax.
All you need to bring are your clothes, bathers and beach towel.

You will have books to read and movies to watch, alternatively relax in the front or back outdoor areas.

Crockery, cutlery, wine glasses and cooking utensils are all supplied.
There is a barbecue in the back courtyard and a large public barbecue in the park across the road which is ideal for those larger gatherings.

LOCATION

Stingray Beachhouse is 50 metres from the beach at Emu Point.
It is the perfect location for that ultimate beachside getaway.

Emu Point, one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal locations, is surrounded on three sides by water. It has large expanses of grass and peppermint trees which generate an atmosphere of peace and serenity and enable one to truly relax.


LEISURE ACTIVITIES

Swimming
Emu Point is home to several of Albany’s safest swimming beaches, providing ideal swimming conditions for children and non-swimmers as well as anyone who loves to swim or frolic in the water.

Fishing
Excellent fishing locations across the road and down the road, popular with both locals and tourists. Catch your own squid as well as fish.

Walking
Walk along the beach to Middleton, 4km, or around the harbour to the marina.

Cycling
The cycle path goes past Stingray.
You can follow it to Middleton and around the headland to the town centre and beyond, or, head the other way toward Oyster Harbour.

Birdwatching
The coastal heath stretching between Emu Point and Middleton beach is home to a wide variety of native birds so enjoy a morning or evening stroll observing and listening for the different birds. Observe the locals on the beach as well - pelicans, oyster catchers.

Dining
Enjoy breakfast and lunch at the local Emu Point Cafe. Or stroll down for coffee and cake.

Many leisure activities are accessible from here without the need to get in your car.
Swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, birdwatching, tennis, lawn bowls and golf facilities are within easy walking distance. The harbour is an ideal and safe canoeing and kayaking spot and is also very popular for stand-up paddle boarding.

Vac Swim
Take advantage of the Vacswim classes which are held here throughout January. You can avoid the hassles of parking and make swimming lessons easy and pleasurable by relaxing under the peppermint trees whilst the classes are on. Stay for the whole day! Walk home when ready.

No need for a car, except for the weekly foodshop or to go further afield and explore Albany’s surrounding areas.

Feel free to bring your furry companion with you to Stingray.
Please make sure to follow the points below :

- Pets must stay outside.
- Pet must be 'flea free'
- Please ensure no damage to the garden (e.g digging)
- No pets inside. The back yard is fully enclosed.
- Guests are fully responsible for the payment of any damages caused by their pet.
- Please clean up after your pet

Availability
In holiday seasons and on long weekends there will be minimum length stays and these will be dependent on the time of year.
