noise was only issue and no key access to side door so had to use car entry at all times

Having grown up in the area and still having family close by, I was already very familiar with Byron Bay and the apartment location. The apartment was ideal as we were hosting a German exchange student and she and my daughter were able to come and go to the beach and shops as they wished easily.
Perhaps it would be good to mention for transparency sake, that the apartment is across the road from the Beach Hotel and that there is loud music playing on Friday and Saturday nights. It wasn’t a problem for us as we knew what to expect and the apartment really was about the awesome central location.
Two points that could be looked into perhaps?? Firstly, we could not open the sliding doors onto the deck and it wasn’t until I called the after hours number and some notes were read about the apartment that we were advised of the little quirk to being able to open them. Fully understand salt etc can change the way things work but perhaps a small sign on the door advising to hold the handles together with one hand while turning the lock with the other to open the doors would be helpful. The other point is that it appeared that our AC wasn’t working as there were a couple of very ugly freestanding AC units. We didn’t need to use them thank goodness as they were loud when we tested them.
Inspite of these couple of things, the apartment is great. It has everything that you need - an awesome location for the beach, shops and restaurants and it’s really clean. Would stay again!

Set right on the foreshore views are to die for. From early check in to convenience of location to all that we needed. Trully a great couple of days we had in the quicksilver apartments
