Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We try very hard to make our guests' experience a pleasant one. Summertime is sea-grass season throughout the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico. It is one of the contributing factors for summer being "low" season and therefore having more value-oriented rates. We do rake our beach almost daily (depending on tidal conditions) to help with the seagrass accumulation, but many aspects of "Mother Nature" are beyond our control. Summer 2019 has been a particularly prevalent year throughout the Gulf and Caribbean tropics for sargassum sea-grass. As for the loud neighbors, if they are staying within this complex we are happy to enforce our quiet hours policy, and alerting Kevin or Meghan is the key. Thank you for staying with us, we do hope that you'll visit again, hopefully during high season when seagrass is not a factor.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review your recent visit with us. Your feedback helps us to do our very best to make our complex and our condos a great experience for our guests. I believe you stayed in another condo during this particular stay with us (#7), and this review is being posted on the listing for condo #14 in our complex. Currently condo #14 is undergoing improvements and updates such as new, stainless steel appliances and new living room and dining room furniture as well as painting and other décor changes. All of our condos are individually owned and are in most cases the "second home" of their owners (rather than strictly an income property), therefore they reflect the individual owners needs and tastes. We offer an excellent vacation value, but we do take your criticisms constructively and make the necessary improvements as often as we can, evidenced by #14 getting its revitalization this time of year. In fact, #7 also has many new décor and improvement items slated to be done this month (it is our off season and the time we plan repairs and improvements). We like to tell our guests to please think of our condos like staying at your aunt or uncle’s beach house – we are not luxury accommodations – we ARE quaint, clean and homey, with an excellent location and good rates. We are delighted to hear of your planned return next spring. We always enjoy your families' stays with us!

Dear Jeanne, First, let me say we are very sorry for the issues that made your stay disappointing. We tried to make it right by offering to refund the unused portion of your visit. We are working hard to address each issue that you observed, however, there are a few things that are part of us being a "Vacation-Rental-By-Owner" rather than a resort or hotel. Our condos are an excellent value and we are priced with the intent that we are not "full-service", so yes, our guests, just like our owners, do their own laundry during their stay. This is a "home-like" (HomeAway!) experience, not a resort-like experience. After your stay, the owners touched up the paint on the walls, and as I stated above, we are motivated to address and correct all genuine issues that adversely affected your experience. But please note that our description, advertising, pictures, and informational emails are all very clear about what we do and what we do not provide at this price-point, and we feel that we are very transparent in order to create a realistic expectation of what our guests will find. It's like staying at your aunt or uncle's beach house, not fancy, not luxury, but a nice, cozy condo with a great location and view.
