Steps to Endymion and Zulu Parades during Mardi Gras!
North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks including (Jackson Square (2.5 Miles), Caesar's Superdome/Smoothie King Center (1.3 Miles), The National WWII Museum (2.5 Miles), and City Park (3.8 Miles). If you have any questions about the neighborhood, please send us a message!
You will have full access to:
• Entire first-floor unit • Living room • Full kitchen • 3 bedrooms • 2 bathrooms • Laundry area • Private backyard + patio
★ Perfect amount of space, everyone felt comfortable and relaxed. Please note: The upstairs unit is occupied by other residents, but your floor is fully private.
Mid-City has a rhythm all its own - neighborhood streets lined with classic New Orleans architecture, the hum of the Canal Streetcar a few blocks away, and a backyard where the night air carries the distant energy of the city. This three-bedroom home puts you right in the middle of it, with the space and comfort to come back to after a full day of whatever brought you here.
Living space The open living area is bathed in natural light and flows easily from one end of the home to the other. A 50" HDTV with Hulu and Netflix anchors the lounge, and a fast Wi-Fi connection with dedicated ethernet keeps you online whether you're unwinding or working remotely. Central air conditioning and heating run year-round, and ceiling fans keep air moving through the space. A dedicated workspace with a door gives you a quiet spot when you need to focus.
Sleeping arrangements Three comfortable bedrooms sleep up to six guests, each dressed in fresh linens with room-darkening shades for a proper rest. Hangers, closet storage, and thoughtful touches throughout make settling in easy. Two full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and plush towels - everything you need from the moment you arrive.
Kitchen & dining The kitchen is fully loaded for real cooking - a Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, alongside cooking basics including pots, pans, oil, salt, and pepper. A drip coffee maker, wine glasses, and a baking sheet round out the setup. Pull up a chair at the dining table for meals in, or grab a coffee before heading out for the day.
Outdoor living Step outside to a fully fenced private backyard and patio - a comfortable spot for morning coffee, evening unwinding, or giving your pet some room to roam. The home is single-level with no stairs and features a private entrance for easy, independent coming and going. Free street parking is available just outside.
Family & extras Traveling with little ones? A crib with sheets, a pack 'n play/travel crib with sheets, and a folding high chair with padding, straps, harness, and food tray are all available upon request. Babysitter recommendations are also on hand. An in-unit washer and dryer, iron, and full set of essentials round out what the home provides.
Safety The property is equipped with exterior security cameras to prevent illegal over-occupancy and parties, a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit.
Location You're a short walk from the Canal Streetcar line and the Endymion parade route, with Trader Joe's, City Park, the Superdome, and the French Quarter all close by. The home is especially well-placed for New Orleans' packed event calendar - NOLA ChristmasFest, New Year's Eve fireworks, the Allstate Sugar Bowl, Twelfth Night, Krewe du Vieux, and Mardi Gras Day are all within easy reach from right here.
Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.

It means a lot to our team to know that our efforts to create a welcoming and comfortable environment made a positive impact on your stay. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future
The property was beautiful and just as the pictures showed. It was super close to Trader Joe’s and made for a very easy grocery run (literally). I would stay here again without question. The only things I can find anything negative to say about (which are minor in my opinion) would be the pillows were very flat (I had to grab a couch pillow to sleep on), no dedicated/reserved parking (first come first serve street parking), and the water dispenser in the fridge didn’t work (but the ice dispenser did).

Thanks for the review. Glad the place matched the photos and that Trader Joe’s was so close — great for easy grocery runs. We appreciated the notes about the flat pillows, parking being first-come street spots, and the fridge water dispenser; we’ll replace the pillows, clarify parking in the listing, and have maintenance check the dispenser. We’d love to host you again.
Wonderful property just a few blocks away from the Canal St. trolley. The apartment was very clean and well appointed with anything you would need. Safe and quiet neighborhood with many choices to eat nearby. Great place to stay when in NOLA.

We really enjoyed this property. Everything was perfect. The house so cozy and pleasant. Our time in Nola was perfect. I’m sure we will be back on this city and of course we will book the same place to stay.
Had a wonderful time. Place was perfect location for all of our adventures in and out of New Orleans.
All throw pillows were feathered, myself and one of my friends are allergic.

Great location. Easy to get to. Minutes to just about every adventure we had. (Pillows were feather, we have allergy, so we travel with our own, not an issue.)

The property was jut as described in the description and photos,
we were in New Orleans to see family and friends and the location was perfect. We found the neighborhood peaceful and neighbors very friendly. The only downside is the on street parking.

Disliked: Check-in
Communication felt impersonal throughout the process, and I never actually interacted directly with the host. It became clear this is run more as a business operation than a personal hosting experience. All communication went through a third-party booking management company, and the check-in process required extensive screening. I was asked to provide sensitive personal information—including a photo ID, date of birth, address, and a photo of myself—through an unsecured platform via Google/Gmail. That process felt excessive and raised concerns about privacy and data security. I have never had that experience with a booking, ever.

Thank you for this feedback, Brianna. I’m sorry the experience felt impersonal and that the identity-verification process raised privacy concerns.
The home is managed by a local team of hospitality professionalsin order to be able to provide 24/7 support, but we should have made that clearer. Identity checks are used to reduce fraud and protect guests, yet they must be handled securely and explained up front.
While our Virtual Check-In process offers our guests Bank Level Security Encryption, we have also updated the listing to make this information more prominent for future guests to ensure there are no surprises.
We stayed with our 3 kids(9,7,under 1) and dog for a weekend. House was perfect for our needs. Super clean, new interior and stocked. Beds were comfy and they supplied a pack and play for our baby. Location was convenient but not quite walkable to the action but a short car ride away. Amenities are super close. Overall, would happily return to this great house.

This house was spotless when we arrived. It’s easy to get to from the trolley line. 2 restaurants you can see from the front porch. Had no issues getting door dash delivered. House was very nice and just as advertised. 10/10 would stay again.

Overall very nice property. The check in process was not communicated very well, and we didn’t get our code until like 2 minutes before check in time (which would’ve been fine if that was communicated better).

Thank you for your feedback, Caleb. We appreciate your kind words about our property. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience during the check-in process. We understand that receiving the access code so close to check-in time can be frustrating and we'll look into improving our communication regarding check-in procedures. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for choosing to stay with us.
The house was beautiful and spacious. The location was no more than 10-15 min from almost everywhere in the city we went to (i.e French Quarter, Frenchmen St, Magazine St, etc) The hosts were accommodating to us having our pets which was a huge plus as they travel with us everywhere (given they are crate-trained). Overall the stay was made extremely enjoyable due to attentive and very hospitable hosts. Would recommend 100%

Thanks for the lovely review Veronica, were glad you enjoyed our home and our accommodations we offer. We hope you choose to book with us next time you visit NOLA!
This property is absolutely beautiful. Everything has been recently updated/upgraded. Everything was spotless, a few welcome treats/beers for us, furniture is super comfortable, including beds, plenty of cabinet/closet space, sweet little front porch for hanging in the evenings. We really enjoyed the location. Not too far from anything, but not right in the hustle and bustle of party zones, and Ubers were quick (which I attribute to the location). We met the owners who live upstairs and they were lovely, but also let us do our thing. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
Well we just got home from our first vacation with the whole family. The highlight for everyone was our stay in NOLA. It would not have been nearly as good if we had not found your place to stay. It was close to everything we wanted to see. Right next to the trolley, close to the aquarium, Bourbon Street, parks, everything! We appreciated the newness of the space. The ability for our teens to have their own space when they needed it was essential for keeping the peace. Thank you very much and we have already recommended your space to family and friends.
Beds are comfortable, street parking an issue (spot in front of the house was never open so we had to park in other areas), house was clean, not a bad location close to public transportation. It was so nice to have separate bedrooms for our teens, washer and dryer, nice big table to hang out, comfortable couch… neighbors were noisy at times, and there was a slamming screen door outside of our bedroom window early in the morning. We most likely won’t be back to this part of the country but if we did, we’d consider staying here again!

Owners are friendly and neighborhood is quiet I would definitely book again

Apologies for the hiccup at the start of your stay, but so glad that you enjoyed the home and we would happily host you again!
The house is very cute, clean and modern. Very easy access to Bourbon street via streetcar. Highly recommend this property and would stay again now that I know how to navigate the below. My only complaint was with booking agency, Book Nola. I received an email telling me I needed to complete a verification screening. I’ve never been asked that before, so I called 3 separate times over a 3 week period leaving my contact information. I never received a call back. I tried once more a few days prior to leaving. It’s a 4 step process. I had to call to initiate each step bc it was not automated. After I was told it was completed, I remembered in one of my conversations I needed to take a picture with my credit card. I sent another message asking about that and they apologized for the oversight. I asked what would have happened had I not completed all the steps, they informed me I would not have been able to check in. I paid for early check in and was told I would get the code an hour prior. I did not receive the early check in code by noon. I called multiple times without any answer and when they got back to me they said they sent it through the message app not via text/email. When I looked I noticed it was sent as we were speaking on the phone which was right at 1pm.I hope my experience was unusual.

The home is relatively new with a number of new homes on the block. The property management company was a challenge to communicate with. After sending messages, the response time was slow and even though specific arrangements were made, they did not keep track of them so repeated messages and corrections had to be made. The other challenge was obtaining the lock box code prior to arrival. In my years of using VRBO I had not experienced the scenario where the property management company did not want to provide the lock box code or access code until the actual check in time. In my experience it’s provided the day of. I literally had no pre-check in information until I contacted them 3hours before check in and respectfully respected they provide me with the code since I was traveling from another part of Lousiana to the VRBO and WIFI would be an issue. The management company referred me to a website that was not easy to use for pre-check in instructions. Why not provide them on the VRBO app? Thank goodness the owner happened to be present on arrival (they live upstairs). She informed me where the lockbox was. From there, the experience was easy sailing. The home is well maintained and organized. Many amenities available. The owners left us their cell number We parked on the street and there were a few spots available. The neighborhood is being revitalized and we support this. Safety was not an issue. We were able to travel quickly to the FQ and Jazz fest. It is a good location.
