Hidden Gem

The property was conveniently located, easy check in and the most welcoming rental we've stayed at, with fresh flowers, snacks and a hand written note. The property owner was great with communication and check in was very easy. Everything was thought of. Beds were very comfortable including five star bedding and towels.

First of all, the space in this house is much larger than it appears in the website photos. We stayed here for four nights with our two kids and truly enjoyed our time. The house was very clean, peaceful, and completely private, with no one around to disturb our stay. I was extremely happy with how the property owner, Liza, communicated with us at every step. On the day of our arrival, there was about eight inches of snowfall, and the room had no electricity. During that time, Liza stayed in constant communication with me and kept checking with the Freeport electric service company to provide us with regular updates about the power restoration. Once the electricity was restored, she personally visited the house before our arrival to make sure the heater and everything else were working properly. She also left a welcome note for us along with flowers and cookies, which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to cook meals comfortably. Since it snowed during our stay, the true beauty of the house really came out, and the outside scenery looked absolutely gorgeous. The only neighbors we saw were deer, and we spent hours sitting by the window watching them walk through the snow—it felt truly magical. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay here again if we visit the area in the future.P.S. There are extra heaters in each room in case it needed. Very thoughtful.

A and will rent again!

I can not say enough in praise of this experience- a wonderful apartment- separate heating in main room, bedrooms and bathroom was a huge perk- I like to sleep cold but not be cold when relaxing.TV available in main and master bedrooms. I did not notice in the guest room. It was very newly appointed, nicely appointed, and comfortable. Every detail is looked after- including little things like Qtips. We did not lack for anything we needed- and Liza also made it clear we should let her know if we did need anything. Great kitchen- you could prepare full meals easily, and there are various condiments and such available as well. The communication was excellent- fresh flowers and a kind thank you note waiting when we checked in.The location is perfect- about halfway between Portland and Bath- both places we visited. It is very easy to find and to get too- and though just a few miles from Freeport Center, it is rural and charming. There is keyless entry- and though we would not have minded, we never even saw our host- so if you desire complete privacy it is there. There is much more, but let me say that overall, this was the best rental of this type that I have ever stayed in.It was very fairly priced as well.I would not hesitate to recommend to any friend or stranger. You can have absolute confidence booking here.
