Location & layout of property good , although some minor areas for this level of property were surprising, some carpets , furniture & walls marked. Biggest disappointment was externally, pool area had multiple weeds growing through pavers , bull nosing of pool was loose in a few areas. Pool was quite dirty, with a high number of insects floating on surface. We attempted to use barbecue, but due to the poor cleanliness, decided against using it, whether this condition was left by previous renters or a build up over time, unsure. We stayed over the Australia day long weekend, which for didnt have the greatest of weather this year, & were disappointed to find out we were unable to lower the alfresco blinds, as owner had requested they be left raised, being informed of this on arrival would have been nice. Additionally general outside condition pooly reflected a property of this standard, spiders webs everywhere, & were not just a recent event. Over all our stay was good, just a shame externally was of below to average presentation

Wonderful home with good facilities, very comfortable beds with lovely quality sheets and beautiful ensuit bathroom.
A nice pool with a good view of the lake and the golfers.
Great experience and easy to book online.
Would definitely be happy to stay again.
Only small things that were noticed by me was still alot of cobwebs inside with small black spiders in them, mainly in the kitchen and living area, the outdoor BBQ wasn't overly clean on arrival and I didn't want to use it, the stainless steel front on the outdoor kitchen wasn't cleaned or buffed, the pool fencing (glass) looked terrible when we got there, should have been wiped to get all marks and bird poo off and when using the dishwasher for the first time it didn't really clean much we checked the filter before putting it through the cycle again and it was full of food, so obviously no one has cleaned that properly and one side of the pool cover is broken however it still rolled up.
The is alot of surface chips on all the walls that could do with small touch ups.
Again the property was still lovely, I just wanted to give my honest feedback.
The situation of the property is ideal, far enough from town to get peace and quite but close enough to go to local bars, restaurants and shops. The entry instructions provided were clear and concise and we had no problems. The property is well laid out for our multi generational family; with Grandparents having a space to themselves, while kids and grandkids had theirs. The kitchen is large and easy to use however, we felt the dinner and side plate were a bit on the worn side and there is a distinct lack of wine glasses on offer. The house appeared clean as long as you don’t look up or move the rug, there were a lot of webs, flies and spiders around the ceiling of the main living area. Cleaning equipment is their but there was no pads for the floor mop and the little dustpan and brush doesn’t cut it for such a large space; that said most people would not be bothered by this, but being clean freaks my daughter and myself struggled a bit. The deck though well appointed was also on the grubby side, my son in law cleaned it off, otherwise your walking it all into the house. The pool is a great size if a little on the cold side, it was cleaned on our last full day at the house which was a little disappointing as we would have preferred it to be done at the start, but we understand you can’t fit into every schedule. I understand the patio blinds have been damaged in the past but they would have been a great addition and allowed us to stay out side on the comfy chairs for longer than we were able. The garden is a decent size and on the whole well maintained. The main bedroom has some wear and tear, and the carpet has a number of stains on it, but I guess some guests don’t take as much care as others and you can’t be replacing things every five minutes. On the whole the property has a lot too offer and is in an ideal location whatever your plans in the Dunsborough area are. We enjoyed our stay with a few tweaks it would have been five stars all round.
This is our second stay at the property as we all enjoyed our time in 2021. It is perfect for our needs. Our only negative was around the garden and pool on this visit, this was fed back to Exclusive Escapes. I am sure that we will return, it is a great spot for golf, walking to town and enjoying the local area.
Perfect location close to town without being directly in town. Outlook onto the lakes and golf course was beautiful. The house was extremely comfortable for our group of 8. There was something for everyone be that sunbathing by the pool or watching a movie.
Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights at this spacious property. Fantastic place to stay with families of 8. The children loves the backyard with pool and beautiful golf course view.
The property is absolutely fantastic and suited our needs perfectly. A couple of small issues.
1. The photos on the advertisement showed a full cot and retractable blinds on the outdoor living area. Neither were available. The cot problem was solved promptly on my calling the agent, however instead of a full cot, we received a portacot. The blinds could not be used due to problems with past clients leaving the blinds down on departure and being destroyed by strong winds. This prevented us from using the outdoor area at night due to an abundance of mosquitoes. My point is that if if the facilities are on the photos they should be available to the client.
2. The pool was less than clean but once a call was made, the problem was solved within 24 hours.
Overall, our stay was fantastic in a wonderful area of WA.

HI Orietta
Great to hear you enjoyed your stay! We have now rebuilt the cot for guests use so this is again available in the master bedroom. The blinds unfortunately cannot be used anymore which we have noted in the description of the listing and the pool is scheduled for regular cleaning before each guests arrival. The pool company we use apologise for the delay in getting this done for you in time. We hope to welcome you back again in the future to this property or one of our many others available.
The property was lovely ,really comfortable beds and pillows. It had everything that you wanted .The outlook was lovely and close enough to the town centre .
