This is my second time at this property and we love it- the neighborhood is great with a lovely coffee shop in walking distance and the house is perfect for a weekend!

Perfect location for family weekend at JWU. Very clean and all amenities as described. Couch was very comfortable. Sleeping arrangements perfect for a family. Thank you!
The home was very clean and well cared for. Several nice touches such as sound machines and snacks. Location was great, near to wonderful restaurants and the lighthouses. Owner and family were lovely. We very much enjoyed our stay here.
The apartment is very comfortable, clean and quiet. The owners were very quick to respond if we needed anything. My only suggestion is to add more shelves and hooks in the bathroom and grab bars for toilet and shower.
Quick stop in Providence and this place worked out very well!! Clean and spacious and a few extra amenities made it perfect. Will definitely stay again!
Check In process was very easy. House was clean & well maintained. Property is on the street, so you hear the cars & you can also hear the neighbors through the walls but there are sound machines to use if you choose. I only spoke with the host through message inbox but he seemed very nice. We had a great stay & I would definitely stay there again.
The apartment was 10 min drive to Providence, had parking and was cozy. It's ideal for early risers, being near a busy road. The wood paneling gives it a warm feeling.
Quiet area. Host was prompt in communication. Allowed us with our 3 dogs. Everything was clean and cozy. Definitely considering another stay in the future!
We really enjoyed our extended weekend in the Providence area. The vacation rental was perfect for our needs. Quaint and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Coffee was ready!
Private entrance to apartment in a residential home & neighborhood. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. The only star I detracted was for traffic noise. Would stay there again!
Exactly as advertised. Comfortable spot. Some road noise, but sound machines in the bedroom made it a non-issue. Conveniently located for our tour of Brown University.
Perfect accommodations for my husband, daughter and I while we visiting local universities. Will definitely come back while daughter is in school the next 4 years!
We utilized this property due to proximity to a wedding outside Providence. Everything was clean. Owner was great to work with. Our dog was very comfortable in the house. Sweet little yard for her to go out into. We were good tenants and cleaned up after her. Looked like other renters were also respectful. Space was very clean.

VRBO from hell
1. Illegal blockage of rear door egress.
2. Instead of full 1st floor owner behind and in addition to above
3. Small child stamping on floor over regularly
4. No TV access to NBC, CBS ABC-mostly pay per view or old re-run channels
5. Bed mattress only 12-18” off floor
6. No closets in bedrooms-one small off kitchen, 36” x 24” deep

Sorry to hear you feel that way but fire department that you called inspected the property and didn't find anything illegal, there is a main entrance and plenty escape exits in case of emergency. In home description it says apartment in a 2 family house, not the entire house. And beds are platform beds as you can see in the pictures. In the description of the property it also says we have tv with streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, it doesn't say we have regular programs. Please read description and reviews from other guests before renting next time, maybe hotel would be a better option for you. Thank you!

Noisy location
It's hard to rate this one. The owner was great and very communicative, flexible, willing to stow our bags if needed and nice on negotiations. My sister and I were only staying one night. Any longer may have been hard. There were kids above us that stomped and squealed during the night and I was woken by them around 9:30AM the next day. I love kids, have two of my own, but since we were watching a program we volumed up quite a bit.
The owner was kind enough to provide clean towels in each room and the fridge had some helpful items. The bathroom, while tiny had some hair supplies but they were clearly used, and the pump I don't mind, but I would prefer not to use someone's used shampoo bottle. But there was a hair dryer I could use, so that was good.
The other necessary thing was the white noise machine in each bedroom. I used mine all night. The street noise is a lot. We listened to the bass of car stereos, emergency equipment and really loud motorcycles.
For one night it was fine, but more would have been tough. I would suggest a carpet for the kids upstairs and maybe a set quiet time? I hate to be complaining about kids because I love kids, but after a long day, we needed some quiet time. In the owner's defense, I never contacted him because we just volumed up the t.v.
Thanks for the stay though!
