Steps to Endymion and Zulu Parades during Mardi Gras!

North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.
If you have any questions about the neighborhood, please send us a message!

You will have full access to:
• Entire first-floor unit
• 4 bedrooms + 3 full bathrooms
• Living room + kitchen + workspace
• In-unit laundry
• Shared backyard + gated community pool
• Free designated off-street parking

★ Super clean, easy parking, and plenty of space for our group, 5/5 stay!

Note: Pool + backyard shared with the upstairs unit.
Trashcans located at the front of the house.

Light pours through the windows of this Mid-City home, setting a relaxed, easygoing mood from the moment you walk in. With four bedrooms and space for eight, it's built for families and groups who want room to spread out and a gated backyard to retreat to at the end of the day. As the city settles into cooler, crisper weather, this is a base for warm bowls of gumbo after a long walk, slow mornings with coffee on the patio, and evenings unwinding indoors with a movie.

Sleeping arrangements
Each of the four bedrooms comes with plush beds, soft linens, and room-darkening blinds for sleeping in past sunrise. Walk-in wardrobe and wardrobe storage give everyone space to unpack properly, and a Roku Smart TV in every bedroom means no fighting over the remote.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen anchors the home, fitted with a Frigidaire refrigerator, Frigidaire electric cooker, Frigidaire single oven, microwave, dishwasher, freezer, toaster, and coffee maker. Cooking basics, crockery and cutlery, a baking sheet, and wine glasses are all on hand, so a home-cooked meal together is as easy as a trip to Trader Joe's down the road. Coffee is provided to get mornings moving.

Living & workspace
A cozy living area invites you to slow down after a day out exploring, while a dedicated workspace in its own room with a door - backed by wifi and an ethernet connection - makes it simple to get work done before heading back out. Central air conditioning, central heating, and a ceiling fan keep things comfortable whatever the season throws at you.

Outdoor living
The private patio or balcony and back garden give you a quiet spot to sit outside, furnished and ready for casual time together, with a BBQ grill for firing up dinner. A shared community pool is heated and open year-round, 24 hours a day, with pool toys on hand - a welcome option for a sunny afternoon or a dip any time the weather allows. Free driveway parking (1 space) and free on-street parking make arriving simple.

Family-friendly features
A travel cot and a folding high chair with padding, straps, and a food tray are available on request, and babysitter recommendations can be arranged. The in-unit washer and dryer, along with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel, make settling in for a longer stay straightforward.

Location
A private entrance leads straight into the home, just a short walk to the Canal Streetcar line and the Endymion parade route. City Park, Bourbon Street, Frenchmen, and the Lafitte Greenway bike path are all close by, with a launderette nearby and local po'boy shops and cafés within easy reach.

Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.

Great house!!

I've stayed next door several times but needed a few extra rooms this time for several members of my staff in town for Louisiana Teacher Leader Summit. Michael came through with this at the last minute. They all loved the place. Check-in process need a little work, but overall, a great rental.

Safety Concerns with Lock Box

The house was beautiful with comfortable beds and in a central location to many activities. Unfortunately, we had safety concerns that we didn’t feel the host took seriously. Our check in time was 4pm but the host made an exception to allow us entry at 3. We arrived after three and still hadn’t received the code, so we waited on the stoop with our luggage while a houseless man urinated across the street from us. By 4pm we still had not received our code, so we called the host at 4:10 and only reached his voicemail. We called customer service at 4:21 who said they would reach out for us, and we finally received the code at 4:32. Once we received the code, we realized the numbers on the lockbox were already set to the exact code that had been given to us. This was very disturbing as the last person at the house would have access if we chose to store a key in the box during our stay. We reached out to the host explaining our concerns and the response stated, “We have already provided the lockbox code to you yesterday if you want we can send it again.” And the same code was sent again. We did not feel heard as we wanted a new code to feel safe in the house. In addition, the house was not fully stocked for six people to stay for eight nights as there were not enough coffee mugs, glasses, cooking utensils, T.P. or trash bags. Also, there was only one roll of paper towels and one bath towel per person. We found ourselves paying for Ubers to replenish the basics we needed.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear about the issues you faced during your stay. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and it’s concerning to hear that your check-in experience and communication with us fell short of your expectations. I apologize for the delay in providing the access code and the inconvenience you experienced with the lockbox. We will review our procedures to ensure better security and responsiveness in the future. Additionally, I regret that the house was not adequately stocked for your needs. We will address these inventory issues to ensure future guests have everything they require for a comfortable stay.
