What a great mountain escape! My whole family loved our stay. We had plenty of room to spread out, but also had plenty of seating when we all wanted to be together. The screened porch was great for morning coffee and listening to the birds. My teens appreciated the games and pool table. I love cooking, and often find the kitchens in rentals to be sparsely appointed, here I had all the tools, cook/bakeware, utensils and serve ware that I needed. Proximity to both Asheville and surrounding natural areas is great, we spent time in both and didn’t feel like it was too much time in the car.

A quiet mountain property provided our family just the right getaway. The house is comfortably laid out with all necessary amenities. Enjoyed our trips to Black Mountain and Asheville.
We visited for our spring break so our kids could climb at nearby Rumbling Bald. The location was terrific as we love going to Chimney Rock, Black Mountain and Asheville, and the cabin was convenient to all. Very clean, comfortable, and loved the amenities like hot tub and pool table for rainy days or after a long day of climbing.

Thank you for the review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately we have no control over the cell service and that is the reason we keep the landline.
Lovely cabin with unique features. Cozy and comfortable while the weather was quite chilly.
All our needs were met during our stay and the owner and manager were very accommodating when we had questions and making sure we were happy!
This property was exceptional. One of our favorite vrbo's and we stay at a lot!
The location was great. Tucked in the mountains.
The house was exactly what was advertised. Plenty of space for our family of 6. We loved all the board games that we were!
This cabin was huge! There were only 2 of us there for most of our stay, but this place could easily host multiple families!! Very well stocked with everything we could need. We really enjoyed the porch. Only thing was the wifi didn’t really work but that made it nice to disconnect from the world for a few days! We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed all that Ashville has to offer. Hiked at Chiimney Rock, played golf and visted Grove Park Inn. Wonderful accomodations with plenty of size and privacy. The home was also well marked on the road so easy to find. Thanks for a wonderful Christmas!

The pictures fully reflected this beautiful cabin! We spend much time sitting on the rocking chairs on the screen porch talking, sitting around the kitchen table talking, sitting in the hot tub talking and shooting pool as well as shooting the breeze. We saw fireflies in the evening. We saw many flowering trees and plants during the day - azaleas, dogwoods, trillium, violets, phlox and more. The area was so beautiful and quiet. We fully recommend this cabin and hope to return some time soon!

Thank you for the wonderful review! We look forward to hosting you in the future!
Loved the home, the feel and peacefulness. Wonderful cabin, with all real woods, character and good energy. Bedrooms upstairs are great for an adult couple and several children. Master is spacious with large bathroom with deep soaking tub. Basement has pool room off one side with a full bath and a bunkbed. Other side had couch, recliner fireplace and tv perfect for gaming and teens to stay downstairs.
This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we LOVE this place! The accommodations are perfect for a large or small group (we’ve been with both). It’s big enough for 15 people but cozy enough for 2. The location is great for us because we have friends in Black Mountain, Old Fort, Chimney Rock, and Lake Lure and this cabin is a short drive to all of them. We’ll definitely be back!

Thank you it was a pleasure to host you and your family. You are welcome back anytime!
The house is very large and accommodating of a family much larger than ours. The arrival gift of fruit and snacks was awesome, and enjoyed by all. Beautiful country with hikes great for the older folks as well as the toddler. Games, including a pool table were enjoyed by all as was the hot tub. I highly recommend this VRBO!

Beautiful property, very cozy, well maintained and furnished. We had everything we needed and more. The roads to the property were a little scary at 1st but we mastered them in no time.
The property host was responsive and quickly answered our questions. A great vacation rental!
Peaceful stay with all of the amenities you could ask for. Nice, clean and cozy yet there was plenty of room for all 6 of us to roam around. We enjoyed the hot tub and being able to sit outside on the screened in porch with no bugs bothering us. Just a beautiful cabin, I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay outside of Asheville and not have to drive too far to get there or to Chimney Rock which was a very enjoyable day for wine tasting and lunch at Burntshirt.

Absolutely beautiful log home! We had three families share this cabin and there was plenty of space. All the beds were comfortable, including the sofa beds! Well-stocked kitchen to fix meals for our large crew. Between the hot tub, pool table, very large screened in porch, and multiple sitting areas, there was always room to spread out and relax. Parking vehicles had to be purposeful (as is often the case in the mountains) but it was definitely adequate for 3-4 vehicles. We did not have to use the extra parking by the street. Post-Helene road repair is still in progress but no difficulty navigating to this beautiful mountain retreat.
