The house was incredibly cozy, warm, and charming - absolutely perfect for four people. We truly loved our stay and felt at home right away. There were so many cute little touches everywhere: adorable little signs, sweet notes on boxes, and labeled drawers that made everything so easy and thoughtful. It was all done with so much care, and it honestly made us smile.Traveling with a dog was super comfortable too. The small fenced yard was perfect for quick walks and made things very convenient. We were even lucky enough to see snow, which made our stay feel extra magical. We absolutely loved this place and would happily stay here again.

You were a pleasure to host, and we’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back anytime.
This property is a little more rustic than I anticipated, but overall was clean and comfortable, very well stocked, and a great location. Great for pets. Communication was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay it was completely clean and with all the activities that the Land Harbor offers you really don’t need to leave. The vacation home felt private and very relaxing!
We enjoyed our stay and would book again. Pur pup loved it and the hated porch! Property was as described and fit our needs perfectly. Only issue was there was trash left in the can under the sink and the coffee pot did not look like it was cleaned in ages. Recommend a new one as it if falling apart.

Great place to stay
This house was a great place to stay. I fell in love with the porch and sent more time out on it than the in house. the listed amenities were spot on with great WiFi and really quite area.the good:- again the porch area oh my god- access to the area around the mountains- WiFi - the little helpful guild in the housethe draw back:- hard beds - I really did not like the beds that said I loved the stay and would stay again if a short visit 3 nights or less.
This house was all that was described. Had a manual full of helpful hints. Events, restaurants, markets, etc., games, books and more. Quiet, clean, charming. Hats off to the owners for their cozy home which made our stay perfect.
This house is small but spacious. Perfect for four people to stay in. It was clean and we loved the decor and feel of the place. Super cute! The porch was huge with a table you could eat at. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The second bedroom was detached from the main house but it worked fine for us. The amenities in the community were great. We were there for the 4th of July and there were so many activities planned for kids and adults. The pool and lake are not within walking distance but we never had a problem with finding a place to park. We had to contact the property manager with a question. She texted back immediately with the answer to our question. When time to leave my 8 year old grandson asked if we could we please come back again next year and stay in this house. We would definitely stay in this house again!

This cottage is very charming and comfortable and it’s location near Grandfather Mountain is convenient for those visiting the state park. A new mattress would be appreciated although we had no trouble sleeping in the cool mountain air, especially after a day of hiking. Slightly brighter lighting would make the cabin more cheerful….it is well-shaded but gets little sunlight. Swapping in some higher wattage bulbs would be great. We didn’t use the second bedroom, which is across the porch in a separate building with a half bath, but it would be terrific if traveling with older children or a second couple. Kitchen has everything you need, but there are many fun places to eat nearby so we only made breakfast for ourselves.

We ran out of toilet paper and paper towels on the second day of our stay.
The trash can was full of garbage and beer cans leaving no room for our trash.
Difficult to navigate throughout the resort community without adequate instructions.
We lost power and texted/emailed the property manager getting no response until the next day. We had already booked a hotel room for the night which we were not compensated for.
The pictures online do not represent the conditions of the property and make it look much nicer than in person.
We would never stay here again.

Hi Carol, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to clarify the following: - The property experienced a 90-minute area-wide power outage that was beyond our control. We're sorry for the inconvenience it caused, but we're unclear why a hotel stay was necessary, as power was restored that evening. - The guest welcome book at the property includes a map of the community and detailed information about navigating Linville Land Harbor. There is also ample signage within the community to guide guests.- As is common, we provide a starter amount of toilet paper and paper towels, including backup rolls. There are backup rolls provided, but we encourage guests to reach out if additional supplies are needed during their stay. - The trash was picked up the day before your arrival, so the bin should have been empty. We apologize if there was any oversight and wish you had contacted the Guest Contact so we could have addressed this or any other concern immediately. - The property photos on our listing accurately represent the home, and no changes have been made since they were taken. We have worked very hard to provide a clean and comfortable place for guests to enjoy and will continue to do all we can to provide the best possible stay for our guests!
My mother and I enjoyed our stay. My grand niece was with us one night. She saw fireflies for the first time in your yard!
Your place is located close to Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Both of these places were the draw to our stay in your cabin.
Thank you!
We had a wonderful time visiting our son in this VRBO. We enjoyed every meal and happy hour on the deck. The location was great. The space was perfect.
What would have made it better? The extra bedroom has a strong musty smell. The kitchen does not have the right utensils for cooking. If you plan to eat out, great! No spatula to flip an egg. One spoon suitable for stirring on the stove. Knives were barely adequate.
Great place to stay. Had everything you need for a comfortable vacation. Close to all the things we wanted to do. Really a great place for two couples to stay because of the private bedroom on the other side. Or for a teenage child who wants a little more privacy. We would definitely go back !
With four people in colder weather, the small cabin did indeed feel small. Galley kitchen is tight, as is living room seating. In warmer months, the outside porch with table would help to address this.
With only 1 or 2 people staying, it would a nice escape from the world. Neighborhood was "tight" with homes close together, but many were unoccupied during our stay.
The cabin had most everything that you could ask for, save for a bath tub. I would rent again!
Nice little cabin getaway. Need to upgrade mattresses!
Cabin was real cute and exactly as described. Very clean and well equipped. Mattress in master BR was very uncomfortable and did detract from the overall enjoyment of the trip.
Very cute cottage tastefully decorated and well-appointed. Very clean and great location for visiting Grandfather Mountain and Linville Falls. I didn't realize second bedroom was physically separated from the cottage until we got there, but with my 15 year old it wasn't too much of an issue. He probably loved it.
Great little cabin in a lovely neighborhood with lots of trails around a small lake. Cabin is small but had all we needed. We spent all of our time on the outside covered deck. Second bedroom is across the deck, which suited our adult daughter, but may not work for younger children. Sounds travels within the cabin, which meant my husband had to be super quiet when he was first up in the morning. Manager was very responsive to text messages, typically within 30 mins. Very close to lots of great hikes, Sugar and Beech.
