About this property

Gem Palace with Hot Tub, Sauna & Pets OK

Summary:
The Gem Palace is in the east wing of the Cloud City Castle. Located downtown, this home is beautiful, historic Victorian home.

The Space:
This is a 2 story home and includes 4 bedrooms (2 upstairs, 2 on the ground floor), 2 bathrooms downstairs. The downstairs queen bedroom has a two person infrared sauna.

1.5 blocks from Main Street! Once you get here, you won't need your car to do anything in town! Fancy some snow activities? Copper Mountain and Ski Cooper are each just under 30 minutes away!

You have your own privacy indoors and a shared courtyard (including hot tub) with the group renting out the west wing. Also, the property owner sometimes stays in the West Wing.

Guest Access:
You have access to anything in the house! Help yourself to anything in the kitchens except what's labeled in the owner's cupboard. Make yourself at home!

The Neighborhood:
The location of Cloud City Castle is one of the main reasons we chose to manage it - it's amazing! You're only 2 blocks from Harrison Street, Leadville's Main Street, but the neighborhood itself is quiet, peaceful and safe. The house has a shared courtyard (with the West Wing) with a hot tub and plenty of indoor space!

Getting Around:
Located just 2 blocks from Main street means that most places in town can be reached by foot.

There is free street parking right in front of the house, but you can catch a bus in town to Copper Mountain and to the Frisco Transit Center.

Other Things to Note:
License # 002060

Boom Days
We came as an extended family (5 adults, 4 kids, 1 dog) to both celebrate my wife’s birthday and for Boom Days, with the main attraction the Burro Races. The home is ideal, only 2 blocks from the main drag, and plenty of room for all of us. Kids loved the hot tub. We only stayed one night so didn’t use many of the facilities, well appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, etc. The only downer was Boom Days does not want dogs, so we took turns walking him around the perimeter. Would recommend, especially for a good sized group.

We (Alex & Nadim) are grateful to be able to offer an outdoor focused community to our guests up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We both love rock climbing, hiking, biking, skiing and spending pretty much all of our free time outside; we were even crazy enough to run the Leadville 100. Our mission is to help as many people as possible discover the magic of the mountains...which is why we founded High Rocky Homes!

We're doing our best to make real estate and mountain access more affordable for EVERYONE!

For our real estate clients, we give half of our commission back to our buyers and sellers, saving them an average of $5,000. This helps our clients furnish a new home or simply reduces the high closing costs associated with buying or selling real estate.

For our property management clients, we offer a service that has no restrictive contracts, a lower commission model and superior performance. This means that more booking revenue goes back to our clients to offset the costs of their mountain homes.

For our guests, we've been working hard to offer more lodging accommodations that are clean, affordable, and full of great amenities set up for active people who want to enjoy the mountains for short or longer term stays!
