Loved the location of cottage above lake and the overall setting is gorgeous. Cottage is very spacious and well equipped. Richard, the owner, was very helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries.
Had an amazing time at this property. Beautiful abd rustic. The views can be summarized as one word, "breathtaking".
The owner Richard was a pleasant and a breeze to work with. Beautiful stay for 2 or plenty of space for larger groups. I recommend staying here, can't wait to visit again.
The cottage was as advertised, the owner checked in through email to ensure all was well, the cottage was big and well appointed, the lake clean and large, terrific view from the large deck, the neighbours (group of beer-sodden young men and girl friends) a little noisy one night but that's sure not the fault of the owner. All in all, it was a great stay and the cottage is highly recommended.
Richard was proactive and made sure we had all of the key information well ahead of time. Very professional and helpful.
There's more than enough space in this cottage for everyone to be comfortable, and the location (right on the lake) is absolutely awesome. It's an older cottage, but VERY clean and everything is really well maintained (newer appliances, etc.)
Our group really appreciated the full-size dining table for eating meals together - not a lot of cottages have that.
We would definitely book with Richard again.
Likes: View from the cottage was awesome. Lake was great for swimming and water activities. Dock was great for jumping in the water or just sitting and enjoying the view. Canoe was in a good shape. Paddle boat was nice for the kids. The cottage had nicely shaded deck that you can just sit and enjoy the view. screened dining area was very convenient and kept mosquitos out while enjoying your dinner.
Dislikes: Bringing our bed sheets, blankets and pillows was a big inconvenience. Dog poo around the fire pit. Kayaks were not suitable for adults. cleanliness was below average.
