Enter your chalet where you are immediately greeted with cozy mountain vibes and gorgeous hardwood floors within a great open floor plan boasting vaulted knotty pine beamed ceilings and tons of big open windows that offer the perfect balance of natural lighting and wonderful views. You'll love snuggling up on the comfy sitting couches and watching the snow falling outside as you warm your toes in front of the toasty wood burning fireplace together and pop on a movie on the mounted flat screen Streaming TV with complimentary hi speed WIFI provided for your enjoyment. Pros: great location, friendly neighborhood, nice big family room great for families or a group of friends, house is mostly single story (no bedrooms upstairs, which is nice!) Cons: a little too hot in Big Bear (but oh well!), house lacking basic kitchen supplies like olive oil, sugar, spices although they did leave a gift spice kit. Enjoyed our stay immensely!

Great location and will appointed, cute house. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything. Only issue were small ants all over inside. There were lots of ant baits place around but it appears it didn't help much. I would stay there again. Just wish they did more to try to control the ant problem

Perfect cabin, PRIME location to Bear Mountain!

My husband and two friends had the best visit and really enjoyed the cabin. It was spacious and had such a nice kitchen and living room area. We really enjoyed using the fireplace and hot tub, although the hot tub jets were broken on one side. The location was 3 mins away from Bear Mountain and was close to a park for the dog to play in the snow. There is even a small yard in the back for the dog to play outside. You must bring your own trash bags, they only supplied one.

Hi, all went well. The house was cozy and everyone enjoyed it. The few things I would change: The microwave turning plate did not fit properly and the coffee maker took forever to brew. Perhaps replace with a single serve coffee maker. A couple of drinking glasses had chips.

Really cool house

Loved this house. Big, beautiful, great outdoor space. Great patio and hot tub. Great yard for my dog. Only negative is with company , that I was told late checkout would be no problem and then when I asked for it they said no. I understand they had another reservation and had to get the house clean but there was just an attitude i got that I didn’t enjoy.

Loved the house. Cute and clean. Hot tub worked well. Not fully stocked as all the other houses I’ve stayed in. Half roll of toilet paper in master bedroom with no backup didn’t get me through till the end. Not even one roll of paper towels in kitchen. No beach towels for the hot tub and minimal bath towels had me a little short. Otherwise everything was fantastic. Yard fully closed in for dogs. TVs all worked. Have stayed here once before and would stay here again.

Hit & Miss

This home in Moonridge was a cute little place. It was nice & open. The pictures listed are accurate. The jacuzzi was a nice feature. All those were a hit for our vacation. The huge miss was the cleanliness, the ant infestation, and a couple of things that were not working in the home. When we arrived there were tons of ants in the beds of both bedrooms and in the bathrooms. Also, the bed linens had old hair in it so I knew those were not cleaned before our arrival. When we tried calling the property manager, the emergency phone number provided to us did not work. My husband had to drive back to the office to inform the management company of our ant problem. They apologized and sent out two cleaning ladies to change the linens and spray the ants. It helped a tiny bit but my husband & I ended up spending our own $ on Raid and ant traps to keep the ants away. We were constantly cleaning more than enjoying our vacation. The bbq also did not have any propane in it and had old food inside which also had ants so we could not use that either. The stove only had two working burners. Like I said it was a hit & miss vacation. Cute place but a ton of mishaps. The management company didn’t even follow up to see how things were going after we reported the situation. Just beware of the ants if renting this place. We did leave the Raid that we purchased for the next tenant.

Good Experience

The cabin itself is updated, the view was amazing, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We did notice some leftover items from what I assume were previous guests, so I'm not quite sure if the cleaning was done fully. Also, the description said there would be no towels, soap, or shampoo, so we all packed our own... but we saw new towels in the bathrooms. Not complaining, but just a discrepancy in description. Everything was fairly smooth, but I think the process of having to check-in at a separate site from the cabin was a bit redundant. Hopefully, there's an app developed that lets you do that digitally. Overall, it was a good experience!

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
