The house was very nice and in great condition. The room layout doesn’t allow for a lot of privacy but having a fully stocked kitchen and a hot tub more than makes up for it. The location is also extremely convenient, no more than 15 minutes away from many of the tourist destinations and even closer to the plaza and all sorts of amazing restaurants. Absolutely would stay again.
Slightly odd house, but very spacious with great amenities
Good place to stay. House is in need of some TLC and a master bathroom remodel (which may be the largest room in the house), but has great outdoor spaces, great hot tub and sauna and everything worked fine. Strangely intermittent dripping shower head woke me up in the middle of the night and I had to close a hardware-store plastic valve on the shower head to stop it leaking. Please ditch that creepy pink leopard thing on top of the kitchen cabinets.

Wonderful location ....a great place from which to experience all that Taos offers
The house is lovely. The owner is less than accommodating. If you plan to cook meals for your family, you should take your own pans. I have rarely been in a less well-equipped kitchen. I asked for an early check-in given that we are in our eighties and we arrived early morning. The reply was curt: " I can allow a 2 pm check-in." She could have softened that with "this is actually my home and I really can't be out before 2 pm"... but her responses were always succinct and borderline rude. I have never been asked to strip all of the beds before leaving...and we had a very early departure....but we did fulfill the obligation.
Sitting out in the many sitting areas was nice. Cleaners did a great job of cleaning the place before we arrived.
The house is over 50 yrs. old and built and added on to several times. There are many levels with lots of steps in different places. Two old people had trouble managing those. There were lots of night lights around for which we were thankful. We were looking for dark skies to look at the stars. The house had lights on all around and night lights in the house with no shades/curtains which caused the dark sky not to be so dark. Ants in kitchen and on couch were a problem. No insect spray so I used hair spray to kill them, but they kept coming back. Garden up- keep needs improvement and care. For the price, we expected more or at least a better description of what we should expect.

Beautiful views.
I will say it was a beautiful area. Quiet. Removed from close neighbors. It snowed and was amazing to watch. Great fire place. The outside was amazing for bird watching and especially the outside area set up with bird feeders. Great parking area especially garage for the snow day. Stocked really well with fire wood which was appreciated.
I will say the property has a lot of potential but it wasn’t very clean. The sauna, bathrooms and multiple areas are covered in cobwebs and the kitchen was a bit messy- fridge was clean though. Then the bathroom that has two doors has no locks which is not ideal for privacy. The pictures don’t mention one of the “bedrooms” is actually a hallway area and you have to walk through someone’s room to get to the back sleeping areas and bathroom. The big pink bathroom is not private. All things I wish I had known since the trip was with my husband and parents/family. Also the towels and linens had a mildew smell and some were nice smelling. Also because I was with my elderly dad, I would mention there are multiple tripping hazards because each addition to the home has a new threshold with either a step, a wood hump or uneven brick. Just a heads up if you have elderly peeps with you because it’s hard for them. Otherwise beautiful area and unique house.
This place was perfect for our needs. It was relaxing and functional. The sauna and hot tub were definitely added bonuses.

All Good in Taos
Hi, our home away from home in Taos proved to be everything we wanted. Remotely out of town, yet easy drive into town when needed. Beautifully situated, private, quiet, roomy and comfortable. Interesting decor and added twists like the largest bathroom you have ever seen in someone's house, apparently part of the house's colorful history.
The property is beautiful an peaceful, the home is amazing. Such a great place near town and easy access to the ski area.

Great place, great location!
Beautiful house, could be much nicer & more polished if outside furniture looked better in sunroom & back 2 patios. Hot tub was very nice but junk & overgrown weeds surrounded it. Outside around the 2 patios & the walkway coming to the front door could use some removal of junk, weed-eating & clean up. Several lamps didn't have bulbs in them & extra light was needed. Alarm clocks didn't work. Kitchen was well stocked. Master bedroom mattress was actually turned the wrong way on the frame! The long side was placed horizy not vertical & there's a 10" gap between the mattress & the wall so pillow kept falling down. Mattress was too short, my feet stuck off the bed bcuz it was turned wrong! But all the mattresses were comfortable. Also, people from TX have had a very hot summer. An AC would really be wonderful. I understand though that most NM homes don't have AC. Other than that, the house was beautiful, the location great, loved the outdoor dining table, & the board games we found there. The complete charges for 3 nites, 3 adults & 1 dog was $13-- something! The fees & charges really kept being added on! These fees are preposterous! I will find a website for owners next time & rent that way. I won't pay for these stupid fees again.
We loved this home! It was perfect for our family gathering. All the amenities we needed and then some were there. The location was exactly where we wanted to be. We especially liked the views and outdoor living space. We had a few concerns upon arrival that were promptly remedied after a call to the cleaning and maintenance company. We did not use the hot tub or sauna but noticed there were no instructions on how to use them. The house was beautifully decorated in the southwest style with lots of lovely art. The house could use a little TLC but that did not deter from our enjoyment of staying there. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat!

Amazing Home, Perfect for Winter or Summer!
The home was perfect for our party of 5. Plenty of room for everyone, lots of great indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing. The kitchen was fully stocked. The large hot tub was a treat with amazing views and the sauna was so nice after a day on the slopes! I would definitely stay here again.
Home came with everything a family or group of friends would need for a fantastic stay. Fully stocked kutched, laundry, comfortable beds, blankents. Jacuzzi and Sauna are extra special, would highly recommend!
