We loved it! This place really feels like a home, not a rental. Lots of charm. One of our favorite things was exploring the cassette options in the kitchen. The view and natural beauty are stunning. We hope to come back next summer!

Thank you for you kind comments, Cole! We hope you will return soon!
The cottage was just right for our family. It is in a woodsy setting with direct access to the lake and a nice private beach. We enjoyed the sunsets on their upper deck (with a charming gazebo) and morning walks along the lake. It was a nice escape from the everyday.

Amanda left the home spotless and was very low maintenance! We had a few mechanical glitches and not one complaint. Thank you Amanda and please come back!
The location on Lake Michigan was perfect. Beautiful view of the lake. Outside sitting areas and beach were very nice. The house and furnishing were a bit dated, clean but dated. There was no DVD player. The house is a half mile or so down a dirt road. Overall the location was a bit too remote for us. Still a nice visit but not quite a 5 star experience.
My husband and I spent a wonderful week at this property in early September. The beach is pristine, the views are beautiful in every type of weather, the setting is quiet and private, and the cottage has all the comforts of home. We loved the beach, the sunsets, the starry nights, the sun on the deck, and the fireplace on chilly evenings. In addition: the house was spotless and the manager was great to work with. We’ve stayed up and down the coast of Lake Michigan for years and years, and this property is our favorite.
Beautiful property. We loved the tiered decks and private beach! It was a great location with lots to explore. Wilderness State Park, Mackinac Island, and Petoskey are all within 30-45 minutes with a convenient and well stocked grocery store outside of Petoskey. It was a wonderful trip and an easy getaway from North East Ohio. We would definitely make a repeat visit.
We were very pleased with the cottage, the land and loved the lake. It definitely is much nicer than the pictures online. And for us Lake Michigan is our special place, and the beaches are pristine.
I stayed there on July 25th - August 1st with my spouse and 4 daughters who range in age from 16-22 years old. We all loved it! The home had that great up north feel with the wood interior and overall design. Everything we needed was there. My girls loved the variety of porches that you could sit on. The view was breathtaking! The beach was large and private. You could walk out quite a way in the lake and it was still shallow. Nice sandy bottom lake, and the water is so clear! The pictures don't do it justice. While we were there we went to the Farmer's Market in Harbor Springs on Wednesday. We visited many of the local stores and restaurants. We went to Mackinac Island one day which was about an hour to the ferry. Overall we had such a fun, relaxing time! Great place for families to go to. My girls liked that there was more than one bathroom! Lol! We would definitely go back!!
We visited June 27-July 3 and we enjoyed every minute of it!! The house was absolutely perfect, it had everything we needed. We had several cool nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace in the house! Debbie, the property manager was awesome. She was very helpful in giving us advice of what we should do while we were there!
My husband and I spent 6 wonderful nights here. First night on the beach we were treated to a clear, expansive view of the night sky, including the Milky Way and a very pronounced Big Dipper and North Star! During the day the fall colors were abundant and vibrant. We so enjoyed waking up to the sound of Lake Michigan and seeing it as we propped ourselves up in bed. Fantastic views from inside as well as many areas outside on the decks and on the beach. What beautiful, restful area, in a perfect woodsy beach setting. We look forward to our return! Thank you, Debbie, for helping us along the way!
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. The interior of the cottage was exactly as depicted. It was very clean and very well appointed. The exterior decks and the beach area, however, were not done justice by the pictures! Our trip was too late in the year to enjoy these spaces fully. We look forward to spending time on them in the future! The location was perfect for our trips to Harbor Springs, Wilderness State Park, and the Headlands International Dark Sky Park. We highly recommend this beach house!
What a lovely location! We had the best of everything. Beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets the beautiful beach and marvelous fall colors.
The location is off the main roads which gives you secluded setting. However the location is not too far to take in Petosky/Harbor Springs, Tahquamenon Falls, Cross Village etc.
The cottage was very clean and quite comfortable. The wood fireplace took the chill off every evening.
The property manager was super helpful with tips on the area and very quick to respond to messages. You do a nice job for the owners!
Thank you for sharing A bit of Heaven!
Wow... the views. What a great property with easy access to the beach and multiple seating areas between the house and the water to relax and enjoy the awesome views. The house was equipped to receive and did not disappoint. Read the fine print, you get a one bedroom apartment with it! Even hough we didn't have a use for it and it was accidently booked the first night we were there by the owner it is a great space if you are looking to get away from the kids and read for a few. Will def. look to book this place again.
Beautiful property! Spent every day on the beach and enjoying the beachside fire pit. Incredible views, especially watching a lightning storm one night and a billion stars the night before. Debbie was responsive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful time!
In this strange time of summer 2020, we were able to forget for a little while as we played on the beautiful beach, swam in the crystal clear (and warm) water of Lake Michigan and enjoyed night after night of spectacular sunsets. The cottage is very well equipped and had everything we needed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This place is BEAUTIFUL! Far better than the pictures showed. Stocked and ready for relaxation!!
