Relax, enjoy and revitalise your body in our wood fired "Hot Tub/Plunge Pool", while watching the sunset/starry nights over the hills or the New Swimming Pool set amongst the olive trees, both filled with fresh mineralised water deep underground.

Wake up, walk down the long, beautiful driveway, and enjoy fresh squeeze orange juice, locally roasted Coffee and hot cinnamon Doughnuts @oldwheelsgrind, which operates out of a vintage Land Rover at the far end of the property.

Sit back and relax with a glass of local wine around the fire pit and watch the sunset over the hill or open the dutch doors for country fresh air and play a game of pool while listening to tunes on the jukebox.

Located just 10 minutes out of Mudgee, ‘The Creek’ farm stay is ideally situated amongst Mudgee’s famous wineries, wedding venues and gourmet delights. Set on 25 acres, the property boasts stunning views and spacious living and is perfect for families, couples or groups of friends.

Well equipped house with a bedroom and bathroom layout which makes it ideal for multiple groups. great location out of town (but still a short drive) for scenery and privacy but easily accessible to vineyards. A Pool table and juke box make for fun times and the wood fired hot tub is perched on a hill with beautiful views to soak in on a lazy afternoon or evening. Outdoor fire pit for marshmallows in the evening and a beautiful outdoor cafe at the front of the property with excellent coffee and donuts (with space for the kids to run around and climb on old tractors and train carriage).Mick and Shelley were gracious hosts and very welcoming. Lots of good recommendations for activities around the Mudgee area.

We had a fantastic stay at Shelley and Mick’s beautiful property. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming to our whole family, setting the tone for a wonderful weekend away. The complementary bottle of wine and personalised hand‑written note were such thoughtful touches and made us feel instantly at home.The facilities were truly first class. We especially loved the wood‑fired hot tub, and the new pool was so refreshing — perfect after exploring the vineyards and nearby attractions. The house was very family‑friendly with plenty of room for the seven of us to relax comfortably.We made great use of the pool table and jukebox, which created such a fun atmosphere. Their position right next to the kitchen meant everyone could stay connected while meals were being prepared, which we really appreciated.The location was ideal—central to the vineyards, Drip Rock and Hands on Rock. The complimentary coffee and doughnuts were very tasty. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, well‑equipped, and welcoming getaway.

Fantastic Mudgee property stay only 10mins out of town. Close to all regional attractions (wineries!). Beautiful property with everything you need... firepit, jukebox and hot tub were all hits with our party. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Just what we needed

We all felt so comfortable and didn’t want to leave. The beds were so cozy, the hot tub was unreal, we felt safe and at home. The level of hospitality was unreal.Shelley and Mick truely went above and beyond to make our stay as carefree as possible. It was a pleasure meeting Mick for coffees and donuts down the driveway. The accomodation and facilities were perfect for us. We cannot wait to go back, I want to take everyone there now. Even if we don’t get lucky enough to lock this accomodation down in future, we will be sure to stop by the old wheels grind for the best coffees and hot donuts for breaky.

The photos didn’t do the place justice!

The property was beautiful and spacious. I am ocd with cleaning so it was certainly up to my very high standards! The property was close to many wineries as well as the main town and very well maintained. The kids had a ball and jo jo the cat kept them all entertained! The fire pit, pool table and juke box fantastic. Will definitely be back!

Perfect Mudgee Family escape

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was situated close enough to wineries and town but also quiet enough to enjoy some well needed rest. One of our highlights apart from the great hot tub was the coffee and fresh doughnuts truck at the front of the property. Shelley and Michael had set it up as a great relaxing start to your day. It was not at all close to the accomodation so did not intrude on our stay. Shelley and Michael were very accomodating and friendly.Thank you for a great holiday. We will be back!

Stunning Property

We loved our stay at The Creek! It was the perfect family getaway with our teenage boys. Plenty for everyone to do. The outdoor hot tub was a highlight for everyone and Mick was so kind to have it ready for us every afternoon. Plenty of laughs around the pool table and fire pit at night. Shelley & Mick have created a special place that is unique & relaxing. The coffee & donuts in the morning at the end of the driveway were an added bonus. Loved everything! We’ll be back!

Beautiful Farm Stay

We had such an amazing 8 night stay at the Creek over New Years. Such a beautiful property in a scenic location. Nights spent in the hot tub looking out at the stars. We had everything we needed, it was spacious clean, luxury bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces. Shelly and Mick were amazing, couldn’t have asked for better hosts. The juke box, pool table and fire pit definitely provided some entertainment. Shop location is close by, we visited the honey shop and fed the cows and saw plenty of farm animals. Jojo and Minnie were great company too! Thank you Shelly and Mick for such an amazing farm stay, truely beautiful. We will be back!

Beautiful short stay from Sydney

Shelley is a wonderfull host and her property is beautiful. We had 2 teen boys and the pool table and jukebox provided great entertainment well into the evening - followed by stories around the firepit. Stunning character house tastefully renovated complete with everything I could think of! 3 large bedrooms and very very large bathrooms. The kitchen is framed by large barn doors that you can leave open to get the afternoon breeze, chat to the family while preparing food for the Weber. Large grounds, and stunning night sky made for a truly unforgettable weekend away. Shelley is very helpful and provided us with a great list of wineries and places to eat. It’s been 25 years since I was last in Mudgee…i will not wait that long again and would happily stay at Shelley’s place again

Beautiful and peaceful

Absolutely! --- Our stay at this accommodation was truly delightful. Nestled amidst beautiful mountain views, the scenery was stunning. Each morning, we woke up to the sight of majestic peaks, and as night fell, the sky filled with countless stars, creating a peaceful and mesmerizing atmosphere. The mornings were particularly special with the presence of numerous birds. We enjoyed watching vibrant parrots, graceful kestrels, and colorful galahs right outside our window. Their cheerful songs added a lovely touch to our mornings. One of our favorite features was the wood-fired hot tub. Relaxing in the warm water while surrounded by nature was a fantastic experience. The crackling fire and serene surroundings made it the perfect spot to unwind. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and were always available to offer tips and ensure we had everything we needed. This accommodation is a wonderful escape for anyone looking to enjoy nature and relax. We look forward to returning and highly recommend it!
