This is our second visit to Vale Cottage in Mudgee.The host Charlotte is always so helpful and attentive to any questions asked. The location is perfect, very close to the main part of Mudgee. The cottage is clean and tidy with a fireplace for those cooler nights. Great facilities, everything you need for your stay.We will certainly be making another visit to Vale Cottage in the future

Very cozy centrally located Cottage. Fire place was great and the second bathroom a plus. All the essentials were well supplied. Can certainly recommend a stay at Vale cottage. A big thank you to our host Charlotte.

We travelled with another couple and a couple of small dogs. The property is old, but very well presented and appointed including nowls for pups if you have forgotten. Plenty of timber for the fireplace was supplied. Along with some other treats on arrival. Easy walking to Mudgee centre and some really great coffee shops and bakery recommended by the owner. Our only complaint was it is quite a busy road and we live in very quiet location normally so this was a bit of a nuisance for us. So for convenience this is great but if you want peace and quiet you may not find this suitable. The owner is very approachable and quick to respond.

Charming cottage

Vale Cottage is an iconic country cottage and equipped with old world charm. Close to town and easy walking to pubs and restaurants. Our host, Charlotte, was very helpful and welcoming. Fully recommend.

Birthday weekend in Mudgee

We had a fantastic stay at Vale Cottage on our long weekend trip to Mudgee. The beautiful cottage was full of charm and everything about it was special, it catered for us all and the dogs loved running around the big backyard. It was close to the town centre and just a delightful weekend.

Warm and inviting

Well cared for, maintained and furnished home. Had everything we required. Bedding was clean and comfortable, air con and fireplace were wonderful. Parking onsite as well. Location was great and host offered fantastic local options for food as well.

Charming cottage in a central location

We had a lovely time at Charlottes cottage. Everything was as described and it was very central with easy walking distance to all the chops, pubs etc in Mudgee town. The fire place was very welcome for the chilly evenings. The kitchen was well equipped, beds comfortable and it was the perfect spot for us. Thank you for having us Charlotte.

Lovely character home in the perfect location!

My friends and I had such a wonderful stay at Vale cottage for a girls weekend. A beautifully restored cottage with all the amenities that we needed. Charlotte was a very thoughtful host and made the whole check in process very easy. She also had some great recommendations for local wineries and cafes and we appreciated the attention to detail which made it such an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Lovely cosy place with excellent fireplace

This is a great house located a short walk from the Main Street. The house has a great fireplace and a backyard so big the dog thought he was in the park! All fenced so we could leave him there safely while we went birdwatching. The house has everything you need and is really clean and well set up

Mudgee Family Time

annual family get together for the weekend although the weather was not always kind Mudgee offers plenty of indoor options as well. A wonderful time was had by all and the much needed rain did not dampen the spirits at all.. Look forward to coming back one day to see more of what the area has to offer. Definitely stay here again.

You will love these cottages - old - stone and full of history - yet with modern comforts !! - beautiful beds and fresh commercially prepared linens - crisp and white ...
Not everything is perfect when you have a 150 - 170 yr old structure - but Id like to think that we have come close - for you to enjoy your stay !
