This beautiful, newly renovated studio is your perfect home base for trips to Hanalei town (10 mins) and the incredible beaches on Kauai's North Shore. Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious, private balcony with mountain views, sprawl out in the laid-back living room after a long day in the sun, and at night, make your way up the spiral staircase to the cozy bedroom for a night of rest on our dreamy king mattress.

This studio comes equipped with high-powered Air Conditioning (woohoo!), and also features ample windows so you can enjoy our signature Hawaiian trade winds and the sound of palm trees swaying at night. The lofted bedroom feels more like a treehouse, outfitted with a luxurious king size bed with ample pillows, and of course, an extra fan. You'll also find a cozy daybed in the living area - perfect for an afternoon cat nap or for little ones (extra linens provided upon request). Looking to work remotely? Enjoy high speed internet from the lanai, the bar, or the writer's desk if inside is more your thing. The full kitchen features new appliances, a washer / dryer, and has recently been outfitted with everything the at-home chef could ask for. You'll also find a propane grill on the property just a few steps away.

Across the street from your bungalow you'll find a breathtaking overlook with panoramic views of the pacific and a perfectly framed vista of iconic Bali Hai mountain. Take a short drive or a long leisurely walk along Princeville's signature bike path and you'll find yourself at Princeville shopping center for groceries, shopping, dining, and more. Ready to swim? At North Shore Bungalow, you're only a few minutes' walk to some of Princeville's best beach paths as well as a short drive from the heart of Hanalei, the jewel of Kauai's North Shore and home to our beloved Hanalei Bay.

Beautiful property close by to hideaways beach (which was our favorite beach) really enjoyed our time here other than the neighbor that was the only rude person on the entire island!

This was our first VRBO and the best part was having laundry available. The spiral stairs up to the bed were very tight and narrow so not for someone with mobility issues. My only "gripe" (not sure what the right word is) but there was coffee packs that were very nice, but no sugar or cream packs. There was tea, but only 3 bags. So if you need or want anything, you have to supply it. There were dishes, pots and pans, things to cook. We had to purchase some basics. Overall the stay was very good with a great view.

Amazing location! Walk right across the street to see the most incredible sunsets and rainbows over the ocean. The mountain view from the balcony was incredible. I could have spent all my time out there and been in awe. The spiral staircase was the only thing we would have changed as it was challenging to manage in the middle of the night when the restroom was needed. The location and views just couldn’t be better.

Northshore Bungalow A+

A wonderful little bungalow, perfect for two. The lanai (balcony) looks out to the mountains. Just across the street is the Hideaway Lookout- a great spot to watch the sunset. The bungalow had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

Highly recommend, nicely decorated and equipped place right in a quiet part of Princeville and close to great views. Nice to have a washer/dryer, beach towel and chairs, and responsive hosts. Comfortable bed and nice A/C unit to keep us cool.

Great Location for Great Experience

What a wonderful place! We loved how thoughtful the place was put together to ensure a great vacation no matter what you decide to do. Loved the view from the balcony, it was the perfect way to wake up every morning and enjoy our coffee/tea (which it was provided). The location was in walking distance to our favorite two beaches. We will definitely rent this condo again for our next trip.
