We very much enjoyed our time at the camp and wish we could have spent more time. Waking up to the sounds of the loons on the lake every morning is something we’ll always love about Maine and this property.

Thank you so much, James! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and the loons! Hope you have a chance to come back again!
We loved every second of our stay. The cabin is rustic and simple but still had everything we needed. We spent our days fishing and kayaking and just enjoying the peace and quiet. The neighbors were incredibly friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back

Whether kayaking, fishing or swimming in beautiful Moulton Pond, watching and listening to the loons and hummingbirds, enjoying a campfire or gathering nearby wild berries, your family will have an unforgettable vacation at this beautiful cabin. Put the iPhones away and let nature do her thing. What an amazing experience!

Magical Moulton Pond in Maine!!
Our week long stay at Moulton Pond was wonderful. The house was so welcoming and warm and had everything we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable. The location right next to the Pond allowed us to have meals and drinks outside while enjoying the beautiful water and trees. We even had loon sightings which was an extra treat. Ann provided all the information about things to do in the Bucksport area and even some extra. She was always in communication with us quickly via e-mail for any questions we had. It was just perfect and we would definitely come back again.

From the owner: "Thank you so much, Kathryn! It was a pleasure working with you and yours. I would love to have you come back again! Glad we became such good friends."
This home has everything that you need! Although it is about an hour from Bar Harbor, the relaxing/quiet setting that this spot boasts is completely worth it. Our kids ages 7, 10, and 12 had plenty to do from numerous board games and puzzles to kayaking and berry picking. The home is older but everything was in working order! We cooked several meals in the kitchen, on the grill and over the fire. The host is super responsive which we appreciated :) We would definitely come back!

From the owner: "Thank you so much Victoria! I am so glad you, the boys, and your family had a wonderful time! Glad you were able to pick some berries at the blueberry fields, it is so beautiful up there! Please come back again."
The stay overall was above satisfactory. This property is listed as Two (2) full baths. It in fact has one 3/4 bath (toilet, sink & shower stall - no tub) and one half bath (toilet & sink only). This may cause an issue if multiple quests, it supposedly sleeps (7) seven, need to shower in a short amount of time, as there is only one shower.
Our stay in Bucksport was nothing short of perfect. The location was ideal-set at the end of a gorgeous pond, secluded and peaceful. The camp itself was charming with a rich family history (take the time to read host Ann’s thoughtful guidebook). You’re given access to a private dock, floating dock, 2 kayaks, a great campfire set up, and a comfortable and cozy camp. This rental is perfect for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, and enjoy some quiet time on the pond. We spent our days swimming, kayaking, and just relaxing. Host Ann was extremely responsive , offering helpful suggestions and things to do. She seems to genuinely want her guests have a great time and makes you feel like you’re a friend of the family! We enjoyed our stay with our busy 3 year old and would definitely recommend for families or anyone who appreciates nature.
