About the home
“Kilcunda Stay” is a delightful single-storey family home in Kilcunda just a comfortable few minutes walk from the Kilcunda General Store, beach & famous Kilcunda Pub, and a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The home has polished hardwood floorboards throughout. The front Living Room (with smart TV & JBL bluetooth/wifi speaker) is a great space to spread out and provides access to Bedroom 1 with a WIR and ensuite (with shower & toilet). The main open plan Kitchen/Meals/Family room (with smart TV, JBL bluetooth/wifi speaker & coonara-style pellet heater) overlooks the delightful rear deck & yard. Bedrooms 2, 3 & 4 (each with BIR) share the main bathroom (with bath & shower), a separate toilet and laundry (with washing machine).
Outdoor Areas
The fantastic rear covered deck (with 8-seater table, 2 love chairs & a gas BBQ) has beautiful water views and overlooks the lovely garden with a further 2 outdoor garden seats & 3 benches. There is space for up to 5 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) to park in the driveway and also down one side of the home. There is a Tesla charging station at the end of the driveway.
The home has some security cameras focused on the front external areas, including the charging station.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is ducted heating throughout the home, plus a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the front Living Room and another in the open plan Kitchen/Meals/Family room. There are also an additional four stand-alone fans - one in each of the bedrooms.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 7 beds, accommodating up to11 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Tri-bunk
Bedroom 3: One Queen bed
Bedroom 4: One Tri-bunk and one Single bed
Please note: The Tri-bunks have a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
