About this property
Peninsulas largest group accommodation. Relax & catch up with friends or family.
Reconnect with friends and family over drinks in-front of a fireplace like no other. Toast marshmallows (that we supply as a thankyou gift), laugh, chat, play pool, table tennis or cards in this amazing space all while cooking your food in a purpose built large communal kitchen. If cooking is not your thing then get some tasty peninsula takeaway. With a gorgeous view of the sunset, an outdoor alfresco area with fire pit and plenty of space. If you need to unwind, relax in the most epicically beautiful bath.
The space
This property was made originally in the 1970s from reclaimed materials. Every brick, doorway and window had come from another property. The cathedral ceiling trusses were reclaimed from the old Masonics hall in Franskton. Let degrade over the decades, this property was purchased, lovingly renovated and reclaimed yet again over 4 years and turned into the beautiful lodge.
Guest access
You have access to the full property up until the end of the building. We ask that you do not go down the driveway as it tapers downhill. The back section of the property is out of bounds until this is finished but don't worry. You still have plenty of space. The paddocks and chickens are viewable from the lodge but these too are inaccessible to guests too.
Other things to note
It is recommended to bring lots of firewood. We supply a box full and have cut wood that can be used at an additional price. We will be accessing the back of the property occasionally while you stay. As it is a very large space, heating is difficult away from the fire place so remember your layers and warm woolies in the colder months. the pool is available in peak warmer months from Nov- April. This is an older country rustic estate that has its quirks but it is homely, comfy and uniquely special.

About the host
Hosted by Kat

I looked through the ridiculous amount of delapitation at this property to see the heart of a truly unique and beautiful space. Over years I worked to reclaim the lodge, sanding back every bit of wood and bringing it back to live. With an extensive renovation to put in some modern comforts and enable this property to sleep large groups, the hard work, sweat, tears and joy is evident in this unique space. Its unique, its healing, its rustic, its reloved and I have no doubt it will make an impression and give you an experience you will never forget. I teach scuba diving and love offering this space to people to relax and unwind.
Why they chose this property
You wont find one like it on the Mornington Peninsula. Its huge, its unique and its perfect to catch up with all of your friends and family.
