Skyefall in Tinderbox Tasmania - home with magic views!
Skyefall is the Tasmanian home of 2 French academics where they spend a few months of the year. As academics they have been working on the records of the 18th century exploration and first con tact with the aboriginal people, as well, as helping the conservation of historical sites such as at Recherche Bay. They chose Tinderbox because of the abundant wildlife, nature, stunning views overlooking the Derwent River and being less than 30 minutes from Hobart.
Tinderbox is a riverside southern suburb of Hobart. It borders the Derwent River and is semi-rural with larger than average housing bocks, small farms, small winery and nature reserves.
Skyefall, a 4 hectare property, is perched on a hilltop along with 2 other properties and a large nature reserve.
It is a 15 minute drive from the shopping and business precinct of Kingston, close to cafes and restaurants at Blackmans Bay and a short drive from the village of Margate with its antiques and curiosity shops at the Old Train as well as the beautiful Inverawe Native Gardens.
Your location is within easy reach Bruny Island, Peppermint Bay, the charming village of Cygnet, Huonville, the Australian Wooden Boat Centre at Franklin, The Tahune Airwalk and Willy Smith's Apple Shed as well as many wineries.
