King Tide

Located 68 steps from the beach at Rockaway, King Tide is a spacious, two-bedroom cottage with fantastic renovations that will delight your guests.

Newly installed tongue-in-groove planks in the vaulted ceiling add an airy dimension to the serene living room, with its roomy white sectional and ottoman, contemporary chairs, Smart TV, and electric fireplace. The fully remodeled kitchen includes a dining nook with views of the surrounding coastal foothills. An outdoor porch with Adirondack seating and a picnic table gives you space to dine outdoors. Two sweet queen bedrooms, both with Smart TVs and one with a vaulted ceiling, share a full bath. You’ll find plenty of space outdoors, and easy access down to the beach.

If you want to invite extra friends or family, three other cottages, Driftwood, Beach Bliss, and Ocean Break, are available right next door—all with the same fantastic updates. Look up King Crab if you’d like to rent all four for a special reunion of friends and family. All are a very short stroll to miles of level sand at Rockaway Beach. Beachcomb to your heart’s content, try crabbing from the jetty, do some freshwater fishing on Lake Lytle, or just soak in the sun, wind, and sky. A trip into town will reward you with whimsical shopping and delicious dining. The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad travels along the coast from Rockaway Beach to Garibaldi with open-air cars drawn by a steam engine, a unique and delightful way to see this rugged stretch of coastline. King Tide puts you in easy reach of day trips to the North and Central Coast, whether you want to hike, explore beaches, shop and dine in many unique coastal towns.

Friend Getaway

This was the perfect home for my best friend and I to get away for a couple days and enjoy the beach! The train going by surprised us a little bit, but was also so cool! Would stay here again!

Simply AMAZING!

We had an amazing weekend getaway!! Accommodations were perfect. Super clean, cozy, beautiful 2 bedroom. Neighborhood was quiet and very, very short walk to the beach. Can’t wait to come back!!

Great location

I took a big risk and based my whole stay off of this location. We did not have any plans outside of coming here. I feel like this stay is perfect driving distance from everything you might need and literal seconds away from the best beach I saw out of my stay. I would not recommend staying here for a party of 6 though. We had 5 people and it was pretty crowded. But if you’re just planning on sleeping there and being outside the whole day it’s fine.

Wonderful!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights. We found the unit perfectly clean and the decor was cheerful, neat, comfortable, and relaxing. Linens and basic supplies were well stocked. Super easy to access. Location was so lovely - just a one minute walk from a beautiful, wide, quiet beach. Didn't even need to cross any roads to get there! We had a couple minor maintenance issues but they were quickly and completely addressed. Bedrooms and bathroom are a little small, but the place was super spacious for our group of two. We found the price we paid was a great value. Overall extremely happy with our stay!

Nice, but way overpriced

First, it was very nice that they let us check in an hour early. The house is VERY small. They say it would house 6 people, that's a stretch, 2-4 people max. 600 sq feet, 2 bedrooms (queen beds), extremely small bathroom. very tight kitchen. It was clean. I think it's way overpriced for what is offered.

Nice but super cold

The did not turn the heaters on before we got there. It must have been 50 degrees in the house. We turned on all the wall heater full blast. It took a full 24 hours to warm the house up. It is a super cute house, close to the beach. Also, think about a space heater for the bathroom. We will stay again, maybe in the summer

King Tide stay

The check-in was clumsy. The property was ready prior to 4 and after calling right at 4, we were told it was not going to be ready until 4 which it was that time. The person said her clock was off 10 minutes and then we finally were able to check in.
