Overall, the property condition is average. Some areas will need repair, and there’s still much room for improvement.
One thing I didn’t like was that on the first day of check-in there was a very strong curry smell throughout the house. I had to open the windows to air it out, but the smell was still present and didn’t fully go away during our stay.
It is an excellent property, well placed to get to major shopping and day tours. Perfect for families.

Property is better suited to younger people, as there are stairs inside to use to go to the bedrooms-which is not mentioned in the listing.Broken bed and toilet holder still not fixed, as per prior review. No windows can be opened, so unable to get fresh air.

Risdon Vale
The property itself was good but dusty in the lounge.
The location is very good but there are some neighbours that kept arguing every night. They were really loud.

Hi Vladimir,
Thank you for staying with us and for your valuable feedback.
We have reminded our cleaning team to strive for higher quality work and have also spoken with our neighbors. They explained that they had friends visiting during that time, resulting in louder than usual noise.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to you.
Once again, thank you for staying with us, and we hope to provide a better experience for you next time.
The property was in a good location to what we needed. A very run down suburb which is ok if the house was up to scratch. The house was dirty no fence gate zipped tied together and previous tenants rubish left in the cupboards( beer bottles and drug paraphernalia. Very disappointing though we didn't let it ruin our hoilday.
The home itself was cosy however a couple of issue we brought to attention so can be fixed for next time like the broken bed, oven not sealing. We also did not get notified of a maintenance appointment for meterbox causing loss of power and also scaring my daughter which I already communicated and the property managers at the time.
Communication with stayz was impossible. Too heavily reliant on technology. I wasn't even sure we had the property which had been paid for well in advance till we arrived. I will not be using stayz again when hiring a property. The property was ok, but had sustained a lot of damage prior to our arrival which made me feel insecure.

Sadly this was a property in need of repair and was poorly equipped. There were holes in the walls, no toilet roll holder, leaking taps and no access to the outside clothes line. Basic kitchen needs were not met. The linen was not clean. Carpet was stained. I do not recommend this property.

Check the neighbourhood
We did not know Risdon Vale, check the neighbourhood as we had barking dogs, loud cars/motorbikes and shouting adults/kids throughout the night. Watch out for the slope driving in and out of the driveway as it is steep and our car bottom front and back scraped the road tarmac. I suggest making a note for future renter or a sign on the property lawn to warn drivers. On the plus side: the views from the living area are great. Possible improvements- have an oven door that closes, the oven grill element is falling in the oven, which should be repaired, there was a bundle of hair in the bathroom sink which we cleared, traces of water leak in the laundry room that can be repaired or cleaned.
