The house is spacious and well-located with lovely views and access via a path to the beach. I would say that the rental cost is inflated beyond its value. The house itself is in need of some maintenance. Many screens were missing from windows and several of the low quality window blinds were nonfunctional. One of four burners on the stove is bent. For a house of this caliber, kitchen appliances and fittings were subpar. There was no blender, mixer, or food processor. Most of the pots and pans were of low quality. The can opener is rusty. Tiny ants were ever-present on the kitchen counters. And at the inflated price of the house, it is unimaginable that sheets and towels are not provided. All in all, the house is nice but the lack of amenities in the kitchen was trying for my family who, for health and dietary reasons needed to prepare our meals at home.

While we always appreciate feedback, it must be noted that this guest wasn't happy with the price she was paying in the first place and wasn't happy before even arriving, so some of the comments are not surprising. That being said, as the guest noted, this house is in a wonderful location. The yard is private and the upper deck has beautiful water views. Right on Wellfleet Harbor, you follow a path from the property right to the beach. As for the smaller issues encountered at the house, all have been addressed--no more ants and there have been some small appliances and other items replaced in the kitchen. We encourage our guests to let us know as soon as they encounter something and we will address it IMMEDIATELY. Also, sheets and towels are NOW INCLUDED and beds are made for your arrival. We agree that is a wonderful amenity that allows you to start relaxing right away!
