About this property
Warm and Cozy, Vintage, Camper 8 Minutes from the heart of Asheville
Tucked in a peaceful cove only 8 minutes from downtown. Central A/C, heat, hot water, outdoor/indoor showers, grill, flush toilet, and a fire pit make this an ideal base to explore all of Asheville and the Blue Ridge.
Clean, modernized camper. Lounge on the deck, build a fire, make a meal in the kitchen, or take a private hot shower outback in the bamboo forest. Wake up to views of Town Mtn. and the forest outside your window and take a secret gravel road right up to the Blue Ridge Parkway!
Intimate, sunny camper with lots of windows and natural light. The camper opens onto a large, covered deck. The deck features a sectional sofa, grill, awning, and string lights in the evening.
Inside there is a full kitchen and a dinette area in front of the window with views of the property. The bedroom has a pocket door, a super comfy queen bed, and soft bedding. Outback, there is a custom-built, outdoor shower.
The sofa folds down for a second, twin bed, with its own linens and comforter.
The fire pit is great for evening fires. We also include coffee and brewing equipment for your mornings. New A/C, central heating, refrigerator/freezer, gas-fired hot water, and microwave. The indoor bathroom features a second small, hot water shower and flush toilet.
You will have the entire property to yourself. My home is next door behind a privacy fence. You also have a second privacy fence on the deck.
I’m very responsive via call or text. If it’s convenient, I sometimes meet guests at check-in. I won’t ever just stop by unless you need me.
This is a quiet location on a dead-end gravel road. Walking around the area is great as there are very few, if any, cars. Vance Gap road is a gravel road a short distance away that leads up to Town Mtn and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is great for walking, running, and cycling. It's also a scenic short cut to drive up up to the Parkway, Craggy Gardens, hiking, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks.
All of this and you are 2.9 miles from downtown Asheville. It's truly one of the best locations in the city if you like to unwind in nature while still having easy access to the city, the RAD, Biltmore, and West Asheville.
You can park anywhere you like on the grass. You will not be sharing this property with anyone else or any other vehicles. It's a great spot for walking, running, and cycling. Downtown Asheville is an 8 minute drive.
Because this is a charming, intimate,, cozy camper it's really ideal for two friends or a couple looking for a romantic getaway. The foldout sofa will accommodate a third guest and is more comfortable than most foldout couches. The bathroom and indoor shower are small but fully functional. The outdoor shower offers more room and a better view!

Why they chose this property
I absolutely love this spot because it's remote, I can hear the coyotes sing, and the wild turkey gobble. I love how quiet it is and there's something special about the light in the cove. All of that and it's 8 minutes from the heart of Asheville!
What makes this property unique
This property is special for Asheville because it's affordable, very unique, and has lots of character. I love having the city a few minutes away while also getting to enjoy the peace, privacy, and wildness of this little spot.
