The place was exactly as advertised, and super easy to access the trail. I wrote a message to the host the Friday we arrived, though, and it was never answered. It was about parking, too, but we figured it out on our own.
Host was responsive and instructions clear. No issues with access/entry/directions.Host responded to our questions within 10 minutes via phone, which was greatly appreciated! The mattresses and furniture (couch specifically) could use an upgrade. Not particularly comfy after a day on the mountain. Overall, 5 stars, no complaints. The only suggestion for the host would be looking into better mattresses and a couch. Would recommend this condo to any other folks wanting a great ski-in and ski-out experience!
Excellent location and prompt response from management

Perfect spot
This condo was perfect for us The ski in ski out convenience made skiing at winter park so easy The unit was very clean and well equipped We loved using the hot tub after skiing And also so enjoyed having a garage to keep our car in We had a great trip and will hope to use this condo again next year
Enjoyed our stay. We parked in the indoor garage when we arrived. Never had to drive. The bus brought us everywhere we needed to go for free. The resort was close to our condo. We were able to walk or ride bus. Lots of things to do and eat without leaving resort. Just needed more towels in our room. No where to do laundry.

This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Winter Park. The ski in/out access is easy - the owners have simple, yet detailed instructions posted in the living room, which I really appreciated (having stayed in a few other places where it felt like an orienteering adventure to find your way home... 😀 ). The condo has a good layout and efficient use of space. The kitchen is nicely equipped, and the dining / living area is comfortable. The shared hot tub area was nice, and also has a gas fire pit hangout area. They have a dedicated locker room and what looked like a good workout room. (But no time for that, gotta ski!) Keyless entry for both the exterior doors and condo is very convenient. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Check in was a disaster- took an hour just to get correct code to get in. Codes to get in each door in the building absurdly long and ridiculous. We had to contact property manager multiple times. Lobby, game room closed and under construction, Mary Jane closed so not ski in and out. We will never stay at this property again.

Hi Amy, thank you for sharing your feedback about your stay. The homeowner wanted to address the concerns you mentioned:- We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the door code issue. The code had been active and functioning without issue before your stay, but a new code was promptly issued once we were aware of the problem.- During your visit, the building lobby was under construction for new tile installation but has since been fully remodeled. The game room, heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center remained accessible throughout your stay.- At the start of ski season, it’s not uncommon for certain trails and ski areas to be closed. However, there is a complimentary bus service available from the property to Winter Park Resort, with stops every 30 minutes. We appreciate your feedback and are continually working to improve our guest experience.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
It was ok
Communication was practically non existent. If questions were answered, it look a while or the answers didnt address the question. Check in was ok and we received codes the day prior to arrival and had no issues. Parking was not an issue. Garage always had spaces even though they were painting. Maintenance happens. Painters were courteous and moved out of way when necessary. Cleanliness was an issue. I had to sweep up crumbs in kitchen and dust bunnies in main bedroom on day one. There was also a layer of dust on lamps but that could be due in part to the dry environment. The grout in the shower could use a little refresh. It creeped me out a bit. That ...and the spiders- there were several spiders we had to remove but hey- it was snowing outside. Maybe they didnt like the cold. All in all it was safe and convenient. We have stayed at Iron Horse before and will again....maybe just not this unit.codes aa fay before chexk in
