Everything was as advertised; it was a cozy, clean place to stay off the beaten path. And when an issue arose, the property managers and owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. Would recommend for a great stay!
Great location and loved the beach being so close. We used the kayaks and they were easy to walk to the beach on the wheels provided. Everything was in working order and we roasted marshmallows every night in the backyard fire pit. It was a fun and relaxing week in the Berkshires.
Enjoyed this immaculate home across the street from Robin Hood lake. The beach access is really close, the kayaks and water toys at the house are like new (even a couple of handy beach chairs), so all good for a long lake weekend. It was really awesome to have a clean, comfy place so close to all the Berkshires offer great hiking nearby, some great meals in Lee & Lenox, and a show as well.Nice laid back lifestyle, thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home, it’s clear that it is well cared for.

Amazing getaway!
The house, the location, the pond, the best! Three of us made ourselves at home for a wonderful getaway and cannot wait to return. We were able to relax, cook, read, nap, and step away from our demanding lives. Shirley, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive upon check in and check out (thankfully nothing needed attention during our stay). Thank you to the hosts and Shirley!
The house was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t spend much time in as we were visiting with friends in the area. The lake access is very close and the kayaks Looked new and thry had a roller to get them to water
Had a lovely stay here, a very cute property and perfect for a girls weekend. We loced the electric fire stove and cuddled up right next to it all weekend long. The location was beautiful although it rained, so we didnt venture to the lake or use the kayaks/paddle boards. The house is in the woods, so there were some dead bugs in the windowsills and such, so id youre squeamish, just know youll be in nature! Hehe. Highly recommend this house! :)
This was a very cute house in a nice location. With a few small improvements, it could easily be 5/5. The good: right by the lake, kayaks, paddles, lifejackets and everything to you need for a great day by the lake, central to so many nice hikes and a short drive to scenic towns; awesome screened porch with lake view. A few areas of improvement: could have been a bit cleaner; bath tub did not drain properly; there was no soap for the shower - maybe not a technically required at a vrbo but I’ve never been to one without; every other similar place with a firepit I’ve stayed at had well stocked firewood, matches, a working lighter, kindling etc. but this wasn’t provided. So overall, a great place - family had an amazing time. But the little things could be improved to make it 5/5.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Pros: Fall unfortunately came earlier than it has the past few years so we were unable to use the lake, but it really was just one house down and the house had nice views of it. (there were tons of kayaks, chairs, noodles, floats, etc.) The house had almost everything we needed, including local guides. (TV is confusing though.) Neighborhood was very quiet. We loved Great Barrington and sighting along the gorgeous country roads. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was huge, lots of space to cook, dishwasher worked great.
Cons: the bedrooms were tiny. Really tiny. The ad says that it sleeps up to seven but there is no way in my mind that it could ever sleep more than 4, or two adults and three kids. There is almost no storage space in the bedrooms except for a tiny closet and a small dresser in the double bedroom. The double bedroom also lacks plugs so good luck charging your phone or using a CPAP in there. The lighting was somewhat dim throughout the house and the lamps in the bedrooms didn't provide much light for reading at night. There were no Kleenex provided which was a bit odd, the house also lacked a kettle/teapot and a pot big enough to boil corn/ anything large in. Also, all of the sauce pans were nonstick which can be an issue for some people.
This is a great house for people who love to be outdoors, or for 2-3 if you will be spending a lot of time indoors.20 minutes to nearest grocery store.
