Private & cosy 1 bedroom. Amazing sea views, 1 minute away from the beach.

You will love the warmth, ambiance and amazing sea views from this fully equipped one bedroom, separate lounge, separate kitchen, plus full bathroom (with a shower and bath) unit with everything included for you to enjoy a relaxing stay, making our place a great spot for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

Free parking is at the beach carpark, then there is a walk up the steps (see photo) and sloping path to the house, where you will enjoy the all day sun, privacy and ever-changing sea views. The beach is also safe for bathing or swimming.
There is a bus stop at the beach, with regular services to Wellington City, Days Bay or Eastbourne, the Harbour Ferry, restaurants & ethnic restaurants & cafes in Petone, plus there are lots of walks in the hills, or you can enjoy the sea as you walk around the coast.

Amazing views . The best place in NZ to stay 100 percent

For years we have always stayed at 5 star hotels, this place is so so much better than anywhere we have stayed in Wellington. The hosts were very quick to help us with any queries we had also very surprised that there is everything that you need. So clean and tidy. New with character, safe and private we would recommend this to everyone. Would stay there if possible every time we come to Wellington thank you so much for sharing your accommodation with us.

A magical hilltop retreat

It takes a little to get up the stairs, but it's worth the effort for the view alone. The place was clean, tidy and warm. There's some food in the cupboard (we left some as well). The booking process and communication with Kevin and Dreenagh was very pleasant and welcoming. Point Howard is only a short distance to Petone and Lower Hutt, and about 30 plus minutes from the airport (rush hour is a bit longer). Do as much or as little as you want. Just relax...

Point Howard was on point

Fantastic little property, But I will say you would need to of relative fitness to get your gear up to the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our little piece of paradise sitting on the point on what was a typical Wellington mixed bag of weather weekend. The views are incredible and can be seen from any window. We did have a couple of very minor issues which were communicated to the owners upon our return home and from our understanding were remedied immediately. The owners were fantastic to communicate with and very efficient in responding. We would 100% stay there again 😁
